Looks great man! So you just sponged on latex mixed with paint? I am about to start my own first modification on a Don Post soon, so was just wondering what the best painting technique was since I don’t yet have an airbrush. Do you seal it with anything? Was that your first hair job? What hair did you use? Looks sick man.
Actually it is easier to use acrylic paint for the shading and weathering, but the acrylic has to be watered down or it will crack and chip.

Yeah I know, I use watered down acrylic and acrylic mixed with latex for all my Jason rotten flesh parts and arms. I never had it crack when mixed 50/50 with latex alone. I use watered down acrylic after that and full strength as well and never had an issue. But I did have cracking years ago in high stress areas when I just painted on top latex. The other areas lasted though.
