Being a recast is even worse. Too bad there has to be so many crooked sellers lurking about
it probably is a recast but for 60 dollars that really isnt so bad. save another 60-100 dollars and you could have someone do a great paint and hair job.
most mask makers,painters,hairers etc.wont touch a recast .if you can buy a recast for 50 and have someone redo it it for 100. the person redoing it is making those recasters money.as long as people buy them,fix them up whatever the rcasters will never go away.tommy
i agree. im not saying people should buy recasts, (knowing its a recast) and then getting someone to do the mask up cheaply to save them money.
but if someone, somehow gets duped, like our friend above here, then i see no wrong in the mask getting spruced up.
accidents happen and its apart of learning in this hobby.

Thats the damn guy i bought mine from! The pic he sent me were great but the mask I got was nothing like it. Hey I sold him the mask for 60 buck, im no idiot if i was i would of tried getting 200 for it. Bottom line is the dude got a decent lookin mask for 60 bucks AND I ACTUALLY SHIPPED THE MASK

I believe we’ve all established that the mask is well worth the $60 paid, I think what everyone might have been questioning is, why it was listed as a Warlock SE.

That is not at all the response I was expecting. Bottom line is you lied. Even ff you sold the mask for $10, you lied when you listed the auction. I stood up for you asking people not to jump to conclusions assuming this had to be a mistake but it looks like you knew all along. I’m really, really surprised.
I’m sorry to say that reply makes absolutely no sense. You sold a recast and billed it as a warlock SE. Your reply makes it seem like you are trying to shift the blame to someone else. If you billed it as a recast from the start then there would have been no issue, but you didn’t. Then the reply you are hinting that you really didn’t know. That’s what doesn’t make sense. If you had a genuine CGP SE Warlock for sale you would have been trying to sell it for $200.00-$300.00 dollars. You wouldn’t have sold it for $60.00 unless you knew it was a recast from the start…and that’s what gives you away.
I almost think he just really wanted to sell the mask, so he listed it as a Warlock SE to help the sale, Cuz he said he got ripped as well, So I don’t think he was purposely trying to rip anyone off, He just wanted to throw that name in there to help the sale. Which was still NOT COOL!

“SE like paint job?” What the hell does that mean? That recast barely looks like a standard Warlock. I’m not trying to stir anything up, but honesty is the best policy and what it comes down to is the person you sold this mask to was under the impression they were getting a legit Warlock mask for a great deal. You should have said recast, but of course why would you because it wouldn’t sell. The original ad that was placed has been edited, so who knows how it was actually listed. I would be curious to know the EXACT wording from someone other than yourself, you know like a neutral party. Maybe Vader remembers the exact wording. He also mentioned this is a '22 mask, and that isn’t going to fit most people, in fact the guy can’t even wear it.
I noticed that most people on this board frown upon recasts in general, I think they frown even more upon people who knowingly sell recasts and stretch the truth to make someone believe it’s anything other than a recast. Instead of using the clever little red guy flipping people off, maybe you should just own up and start fresh.

Then again you were selling one of your JC converted masks about 3 weeks back talking about it had “real kirk hair” when it was just Mohair.
