Based on this, unless later copies somehow end up looking really poor, I have to eat crow and admit that this looks fantastic, vastly better than I would have expected.
Looks great but yeah I guess they underestimated orders and have stated there is no guarantee all June and July orders will be shipped before Halloween. Hoping they are for everybody who orders’ sake
Yeah but if thats the case tots should compensate those who ordered way before the cut-off date of august 8th or accept refunds. Its not our problem if tots cant keep their word, they guaranteed and even sent an email that all orders placed before august 8th would be guaranteed before october 31st.
I 100% agree with you man. No reason for them to not allow refunds if they broke a promise on an agreed upon delivery date. Sucks people will be patiently waiting it’s frustrating even for me to watch
100% percent agree. Add the fact that EVERY place other than TOTS got masks before the first person who preordered. It seems to me that when you preorder, that means you get it before or at the same time as everyone else. Why preorder?!

Oh, you gotta love the condescending email Zephro sent out to customers who are rightly concerned about an update or explanation. Something along the lines of “if we didn’t have to reply to all of these emails, we wouldn’t have to stop the process” or something like that. This Zephro dude is something else.
I am not really mad other places got them first like mass retailers because tots will of course prioritize them but what gets me frustraded is that supposedly they are no longer guaranteeing deliveries for those that placed orders before august 8th because that was guaranteed by them. I was really lucky that during a trip to new jersey i was there during the weekend of september 1st and got one at party city. But i am still waiting on two copies i pre-ordered in mid june from tots.
I’ve defended them a lot, sending orders to big companies like Party City first is definitely priority, but making a promise and taking the money first and not following through is wrong. Not accepting refunds so they can buy the mask elsewhere is even more wrong. I’m hoping everybody who ordered before the “deadline” in August get their masks before Halloween.
I got a fairly early copy back then as well and my paint job wasn’t trash either there are so many that are really really bad. I was worried it was gonna look terrible but I thought mine wasn’t too bad considering.
Mine is currently getting re-hauled as we speak so it doesn’t look like this anymore but this is basically what it looked like when I got it back in 2018 when they released, although I worked the hairline a little bit.

yeah I thought it was pretty decent I really lucked out with mine that’s why I’ve had it for so long and never had it re-hauled until recently. Reme is doing it for me it should be done pretty soon I know he was styling the hair yesterday. I’ll be sure to post some pictures after the rehaul is complete.
Oh I know trust me I started talking to him about it about that time last year and we set aside time later on when I could send it to him. He’s always busy as hell with those orders. But yeah we had been planning it for a long time ahead. My mask is also autographed inside by Nick Castle so Reme was one of the only guys I trusted with it and it was nice that it didn’t have to cross the border seeing how he’s in Manitoba and I’m in Alberta. I can’t wait to get it he’s so awesome at it lol
