Not that it matters I guess, but this is my favorite H78 conv yet. I nailed the overall look that I wanted and the eyes are as close to perfect as “I” will ever get them on an H78! The hairline is also spot on for “my” taste. So if any of you guys ever wondered what JC sees as the near perfect H1 H78, this is it! No stuffing or stretching and this was natural lighting for most of these or either briiiiiight fluorescents!
That’s the kind of end result you get when a customer isn’t rammed up your ass trying to rush you or begging for updates! I agree that’s prob the best H78 I’ve seen u knock out to date. Fantastic work
Man James you are are a myers beast my friend…Your conversions are just sick brotha and scream Hero…I have some projects for you coming up in the future bro…As soon as work picks back up from a snow delay im heading your way my man…Later guys
What I like about your pictures of your work JC is that you do bright natural lighted pics. What you see is what you get. You don’t get crap and you don’t have to use shadows or crazy lighting to make the mask look good. I appreciate that. Keep doing what your doing because you do it the best.
Thanks guys for the comments, as usual! Well I finished one tonight that I think is better than this one
Thanks man, I’ve never been a fan of the hacked out, jagged looking eye cuts at all! To be quite honest, I am convinced that the Hero cuts were indeed fairly smooth… thank God for 60+" HD TVs and blu-ray! I always reference this Hero pic below when cutting my H1 cuts. They don’t always come out the same each time but consistancy is my goal for my customers. Yep, it takes a little longer to draw and cut them smooth and accurate but well worth it to me at the end of the day! The Hero was stretched a tad bit in this photo but surely not much! I just compensate when I cut.
Again I say, fairly smooth and it still puzzles me as to how they got this smooth during production? The terrible resolution of this pic surely doesn’t help, but Blu-ray on a big HD TV definitely seals the deal for me!
Thanks man, glad you notice! I always make it a point to take clear, dead on shots even if it doesn’t look all that great… ha, especially if it doesn’t look that great! Don’t want anyone sending their mask back!
