Initially this thread was me asking what I should convert a cheap ebay mask to. FutureReference suggested I convert it to what the hero looks like today, or my take on how else it may have aged. I really liked that Idea, so using the actual hero today as inspiration and reference, I tweaked it into what I think is a fairly okay version of how else it may have aged over 40 years. I do want to age the hair more, so any ideas on how I could do that would be appreciated. Anyways, here are the results!
With the neck slit I personally believe it’d be best as a modern day Hero replica or you can go for a unique style and make your own variation of how the Hero would have aged over 4 decades
That’s actually a really cool idea- I haven’t seen many people do that before. I really love that idea. I’m gonna see what other people think about the shape of it, if it’d make a respectable modern-day hero first- but I think I’ll definitely go with that. Thanks!
That is amazing man!! A suggestion …get some “fullers earth” off ebay and dust some in the hair. Will give it a really aged affect. I saw a guy that took a Paper Magic MM mask and did an over haul and it looked pretty good. You made a unique version…one of a kind!!
You can use corn starch dusted in the hair for an older look, It lightens it up and its safe on masks. Same stuff they tell you to keep the inside of the mask dry
