I go 2k just because of the pics I’ve seen…although I’ve never held one or the other.

Same here I love the look of the 2K it looks so vintage and hero like! 
Not seeing how you can compare 2 totally different masks…
I’m with you on this one Matt. Jon, I feel you are looking to outside opinions to convince yourself that selling the SLE was the right thing to do and that you now own the most treasured mask in the community.
Forgive me if I’m wrong and I’m really not trying to offend.
I personally think that it’s a great post seeing that the White Mask was an original 75 Kirk and the 2 K looks just like a 75 K.I like the 2 K better than the KH/DW that’s imo.
I think the most treasured mask would be the hero or a 75 Kirk, but back on topic, you can’t really compare the two.
I PERSONALLY AM NOT A FAN OF THE KH ITS JUST DOESN’T DO IT FOR ME AND NEVER HAS. I’VE SEEN THREADS OF H2 KH’S NEXT TO JAMES CARTERS H2 NIGHTMARES AND IS NIGHT AND DAY. MY VOTE IS THE 2K KIRK JUST BECAUSE IT SCREAMS THE H1 HERO FEATURES IN SO MANY WAYS THERES NO CONTEST JMO.

We have not seen a 2k converted.It could look off once converted.There is no way to compare them at this time.I would love to own either, but I would need to see a 2k done up myers first to compare the 2.
Correct me if Im wrong, but take a look at CalebCroft (Jay Muzz)'s NAG/COL 2k Mask. As far as comparing a kirk to a myers, i do agree that its not compareable. But seeing Jay’s copy, I vote a 2k myers converted over a KH.
The KH never did it for me, they look best when worn in my honest oppinion. Certain copies it looks like michael is goggling on some SCOPE cleanser. Now if the price was $300 like it was originally, it would be a different story maybe. I would pick the DB2, the 2k, hell even a Nightmare done H2 by james over a KH. Again i think its all about the copy, ive seen a couple KH’s that really gave me the wow factor. just my oppinion

Jays mask is all Hero and the 2K has all the looks of hero how could it be off converted?

dont get me wrong the KH is a great mask but it doesnt look like it came from a kirk. The 2K kirk is a spot on replica, whereas the KH, in my own eyes, is one of those takes on Myers that will not match up to a kirk no matter what because the features are just way different.
Again, not trying to hate at all. I held Donnie’s KH SLE at mask fest and it’s a very VERY cool mask, has an awesome vintage feel to it, but it does not look like it came from a kirk. now, i’m not sure we will see a 2k kirk converted…but i personally would love to 
because they are different masks from different movies, i mean, yeah, the 75k was used in both but still had different looks so you can’t ompare them! the 2k is one of the best in the h1 category and the kh is one of the best in the h2 category! i feel like you aren’t letting people have an opinion cos you keep coming back saying 2k is better

. I dont think its his fault since the thread itself was trying to compare 2 uncompareable masks. K/H will capture the look of the H2 mask when worn, better than any other H2 mask IMO. But like Addison said, were trying to compare a kirk mask to a mask that doesnt have any kirk features, so its going to be a no brainer which one looks more spot on to the hero in peoples eyes.
Oh no Jon, not another one! Just kidding brotha, i love this stuff. Overall I think the 2k will win this, but there are some good points here and i can see what many are saying. IMO the KH does have many simularties to a kirk 75. Speaking from personal experience when i stuff mine, it looks very kirky indeed.
Also this pic that Sheriff posted on the other KH thread speaks volumes.
However all opinions are valid, and the 2k kicks major ass! As mtlongly very well said, “the 2k is one of the best in the h1 category and the kh is one of the best in the h2 category”

Well, that would be because the 75K (2K, whatever 50 million K masks Nik’s puttin’ out) is a Kirk replica. The KH is meant to be Myers replica. When Dick wore the mask in H2 it was converted (surprisingly that seems to not be an obvious point here) and he stretched the features. Two incomparable masks.
Man! All I am doing is trying to have a little fun on the board! I really can’t stand when people reply “i feel that you are trying to do this” type of shit in a simple/fun voting poll!
One more thing dude, what does selling my KH SLE have to do with this topic? I don’t need opinions to convince myself that selling my KH SLE was the right thing to do. I knew the day I sold the mask I made the right choice as I had NO money saved and we own a house. In fact I think it was one of the smartest moves I have done in this hobby…
