New Project H2 Half Mask and Torn mask (Finished 1-26-10)

This is something I have been wanting to do for a while. Make the h2 exposed half mask look. So I got these blanks from Addison. The one I tested the cuts on was a thicker “flawed” one. It has lots of latex bubbles on it so its going to be the final one that one is probably going to be tomorrow. But tell me what you guys think I should fix or what not on this mask. All opinions welcome. Here are some pics. Thing about this mask is that it is huge around my head once I got it through the neck my head had alot of room haha.

Its lookin pretty good bro. This is something I want to do too. I need to pick up one of Addisons Blanks.

Ok thanks Justin. Could you tell me what you did for the base coat and for the scars to bring them out?

Also here is the 2nd one I am making into a display (the scar looks way bigger than it actually is)

I was told Acrylic and liquid latex for base coat but wouldn’t that clog a gun and have to be airbrushed.

Sprayed the “teddy bear brown” for the first coat of brown.

Wow, you are doing one hell of a job bud…The scars look dead on bro…I cant wait to see this finshed…I think addisons mask makes a great half mask anyway so Im sure this one is gonna look seet…Later bud

Here is the 2nd one I am working on now. Its going to be painted up like the Revolver shoot mask. The rotted one before its ripped. Here are some pics with just the light gray base.

Here are the twins with the same paint up. Hopefully going to start doing all the rotting detail very soon. As for now enjoy.

Thanks that means alot guys. I am now kinda stuck on how I am going to do the detail on the mask. Brush and sponges or airbrush. Wayne did brushes and sponges but airbrush is really tricky haha.

im reeeeeeeeeally diggin that revolver style one…as that is my fav mask in the series…you should put an overload of hair on that thing like the hero…i know wayne used way more hair for these then the remakes (its not just messy there is more hair)…couldnt tell ya why though lol

Ok did the paint up on my half mask tonight spent a little over 3 hours on it just trying to make it right and I think I got it how I want it. Its really yellow but how the pics are lite. When I asked Wayne he told me the mask was really yellowy and with the brown details but the pics lighting does not really show the yellow. Anyways here are some pics in some different lighting I will try to get the yellow in other pics but my camera won’t pick it up.

Thanks man there is actually a lot of that old green/yellow to it like I said. But I can not get it to show very well with my camera I don’t know why its not picking it up as well as it should.So I brought them out a little bit. Here are some pics outside for now. Well enjoy guys. Going to order the hair soon any suggestions on what to use for RZ H2 hair?

It’s all based on the lighting here are some pics I used for references for those interested or confused on the colors

It is just how you light and effect the mask to give it the colors and bring them out too. It is really a dark mask.

there is a pic on here of tylers personal collection mikibanes is right on all angles…its such a yellowish brown in the pic depending the way u light it it could look yellow grey brown tan or even human skin color
