New Score: Colin's 2k Kirk!

All jokes aside from my last post, here is the real deal. I would like to give a special thanks to Colin for parting with this mask. Many of you know that the only other mask, I cared to own once I parted with my MMK’s was a 2k and as chance would have it the opportunity arose to acquire the one, 2k Kirk that I had always had my eyes on. The accuracy of this piece is already scary, but Colin’s paint and hairwork simply took Nik’s incredible sculpt to that next level, IMO. The hairline, 70’s DP hair, paintscheme, and attention to detail are second to none. I have owned many fantastic pieces over the years and I have seen many projects come and go, and while the consensus on the boards for years has suggested only a direct claypress of a 75’ Kirk could warrant a near perfect replica, Nik defied those odds by creating a masterpiece that no claypressed Kirk has been able to replicate. To me, this is simply “The One”. Here are some clear pics under different lighting. Enjoy

If I could only own one kirk mask, then the 2K would be it…congrats Kris I am so jealous…it is a special piece :rock:

You know, I don’t look at any score as superior to the next, I simply look at each score as just “different”. I’ve owned a lot of pieces that have obviously have been exceeded in accuracy, but every piece I ever owned was special and unique in its own way. I wish I never had to part with any of them, but this piece certainly makes up for those loses.

Congrats. Thats a unreal Kirk. The thing I love about the 2K Scuplt it’s the only one besides the KH Rare that has the detailed cheek bones on both sides. One of the most important features usually washed out on almost all the other myers masks.
