Happy Saturday everyone. It’s a pretty awful day here in the Pittsburgh area, but I worked on another TOTS conversion to distract myself from the tragedy on the news for a few hours. This one was a request, a clean H4. Im pretty happy with this one, it’s crazy how the stark white paint and no weathering can really hide the features in certain lighting, much like the movie mask.
As for the process, I altered the hairline to be a little more accurate, cut the eye holes with scissors then cleaned them up with the dremel, and glued on the neck extension. The extension was latex poured into a mold that I made. Still working with the most efficient way of attaching it to the mask, but it seems strong enough.
The mask and hair were then painted and that’s pretty much the bulk of it. Onto the pics
As always, thanks for checking it out! Let me know what you think!
Great job dude! You mentioned a more efficient way of attaching the neck extension. I was just wondering if you’ve tried using liquid latex to attach it? I’ve haired with it and it bonds better than any glue I’ve tried!
Might be the most solid conversion into an H4 I’ve ever seen. You even went the extra mile and added the neck extension! And those eyecuts aren’t bad at all. Really hope to see some future work from ya.
