I am still just absolutely amazed at the talent we have on this board… ESPECIALLY you Nik. Big congrats man. You have a winner in both of these. I believe the 2k is the more accurate mask of the two, but for the price of the 75k, how can you beat that? Again congratulations on your hard work Nik. It will definitely pay off in these 75k’s.

I don’t think anyone is bashing the 2k mask. Everyone loves it from what I’ve read.
You’re not competing w/ anyone anyway, as they’re both your masks so there is no argument.
I just stated my preference and my wifes… we both think the 75k looks closer to the Kirk.
Of course we have only seen the pics you’ve posted Nik - our opinions could change after we see more.

well,the thing is that im a lousy photographer and i believe that all know that.So i dont say the opposite… it is my picture BUT the mask its not filled, the angle and light its totally different so to make compoarison and show it with a picture like this you must WANT to see differences.Im sure you have saved many 2k pics and im sure u can find one that matches like the one i posted next to Darrens

Here’s my 2 cents worth. The 75k seems to me to be smirking a little bit ore than the 2000$ mask. What’s that worth. Nik makes a mask for people that can afford a Lexus and for those of us that can afford a Chevy Cavalier. Buy what you all like the best. They both look great and I’m sure next year people will find Nik to have outdone himself with something that is the exact same with a different name to get you all hyped up again. Nice job though and looking forward to mine. 
75k looks more like a nightmare.

I love both masks, and yes to me the 2k kirk is spot on, if I ever had the money for both and someone was selling both I would happily buy them both, but sadly i’m broke lol Nik’s work is stunning, if I was rich, I would buy all his sculpts…Dean

Both are beautiful but everyone will judge “most accurate” in different ways! Most people here are looking for a Kirk that has the Myers look even before being converted. I think the 75 captures this quite well! As for complete “MINT” Kirk accuracy, I give it to the 2K! Again, both are beautiful and I have photoshopped about a million sets of eyecuts on each mask already 
… and I must say that the 75k = Hero!

Boy this is close! After studding every Kirk in the gallery I personally prefer the look of the 75k over the 2k. Price tag aside, I prefer the softer features of the 75k. But the 2k is a BEAST, and both masks are off the chart.
As always it comes down to personal taste, how YOU see the hero. The 2k is in mint shape with all those details Nik pain stakingly researched and added. On top of that it has far superior paint and hair. However for me the 75k JUST snags it for its overall form and softer round features, but only because that’s what I personally prefer.
So Jon you can send me your 2k now!

Well I’ve been looking for the past 30 mins for any pics that I have saved and can’t find any. I know I sent some to a few people here, maybe even Nik. They were just quick mock ups mainly for me to get excited over then delete or never even saved them. But I did have and send a couple out… anyone with those eye cuts pics from me on the 75 please post them. The ones I PSed were not properly stuffed but you could still see the insane potential.
