Offensive avatars

Hey

Over the past few months, we have had an increase in offensive avatars. Mainly from newer members to the board. The avatars in question contain swearing/flipping the V’s and it is not needed on the site, so if you have something in your avatar that other member may find offensive, please remove it.

Many thanks. :sunglasses:

Thank you for bringing this up Steve. I honestly cringe every time I see one of these… :unamused:

Great post Steve! It’s nice to see an effort being made to try to give this place a little more class.

Well so far the worst thing i have spotted was a gal ,about 320lbs in a string bikini=======Very offensive in so many ways!!

You hit the nail on the head.

I’d rather see that then someone in a Myers mask flippin’ the bird  Honestly what am I missing here? Is that cool? Did Myers do that in the movie? How do you think D. Warlock feel’s when he sees that? That is, if he’s even around still???

dead on man, well said bro,Z

Would mine be considered offensive?

Yeah thats very childish and I dont like to see that either…Its imature and I just dont seeing Michael myers portrayed that way…I love this character and take this hobby very seriously…I can take a joke just as well as the next guy but when I see things like that It almost like people are mocking it and dont take this place seriously…Im not saying thats how they feel but its how it comes off…Later guys

Good post.

I always wondered what it was supposed to mean when a member was pointing a gun at us in their avatar. In real life…I’d take that gun and shove it in their ass in a heartbeat.

That whole movie was offensive :axe: (JK) I don’t think so?

Dude yours represents the man and reason were all here!!rock on!!

My Avatar is a right of passage.

I can’t see Nos’ being offensive, it’s a scene directly FROM a movie that is one of the exact reasons this place exists LOL! I think you’re safe Nos!

I was thinking the same thing. No one wants a gun pointed at them, even in a picture. What purpose does that serve? Especially when we are all supposed to be friends

Right! No offense there :drinkers:

I’d like to hear an explanation for this as well. Is pointing a gun at the camera in a pic supposed to make someone look tough and intimidating or something? :unamused:

Yes… I think most of us encourage this type of avatar
