Original and non-converted Kirk mask in Halloween 4?

Apparently they got this unconverted Kirk straight from the set of Halloween II. It was a stunt mask that was never painted up/modified. They apparently filmed a lot of H4 with this mask before realising that this isn’t how Myers looked, so they converted the mask and reshot the scenes, but this scene was too expensive to reshoot.

You can see the half-converted mask in the discount mart scene, where Myers picks it up. It has uncut eyeholes, unfinished white paint and light brown sprayed hair, before they misted it black.

They had already filmed a lot of H4 before realizing that wasn’t how the Myers mask was supposed to look??? Was the entire crew on crack? How could anyone not know that, let alone an entire crew?

I THINK the mask we see on film is a poorly recasted kirk mask.

From what I can tell there are only two scenes that use a 75k. The school scene and the rocking chair/shotgun scene.
