MONSTER MANIA 14 I met my hero…the mustache of steel TOM ATKINS-here he is holding my infamous Halloween 08 shots wearing the stache. He was flattered. I got him to sign my H3 DVD and Also picked up the ATKINS t shirt. He was an extremely friendly guy and very courteous and excited to meet all of his fans.I drank a 40 of Miller high life that night in honor of this right of passage.
I was not at MM long, i hope to see some of you guys there next time…

It was a very bright and nice day today.
Don Post sent me this photo a while ago; it’s a cool little photo. A little bit of history of this photo; this was taken right around August 1982, months after ‘Halloween III’ was filmed at the studio. If you look behind him you’ll see the ‘Halloween III’ Witch and Pumpkinhead, Hollywood Gorilla, ET and Syngenor. What do you not see? The Skull from ‘Halloween III’. It was around this time that I mailed my letter to Don Post asking about the mask from the movie ‘Halloween’ and Don Post replying to me. Along with a letter response Don sent me a ‘Skull’ mask from the upcoming ‘Halloween III’ movie; the mask was large and did not have any tags on it. The photo makes me wonder if the ‘Skull’ came from Don’s office and he simply replaced the ‘Skull’ he sent me with the ‘Hollywood Gorilla’; all masks debuting in 1982. It would make sense. 
Awesome pics guys! Love the DPJ pic there Billy. I have a Hollywood Gorilla and it’s one of my favorite vintage masks. There is actually one on eBay right now at a very decent price - Toyranch is selling it. Someone should snag it, as you rarely see them pop up nowadays.

Man, Aughra scared the hell out me when I was very young. Never seen a copy of that mask.
Same here man, but not as much as the skeksis… Those 3 don post masks were only made for 1 year before they were discontinued.
Very rare! I used to have the Pod Peasant master copy, but sold him.

I have been looking for the Skeksi (Garthim Master) for years… no luck finding one in good condition.
