Ya I do, lots of really interesting tidbits, there are a bunch of scripts that are just ridicoulous, but there are some real gems that just got trashed, too many of weinsteins fat fingers in the Halloween pie. Guy really sidelined alot of potential Halloween movies. Wish he never got the rights at all. Douche of the lowest order. Thats also another reason why we cant get a truely great Halloween film too many people who think they know what Halloween is about meddling in the process. The business side of things is so cutthroat. We should have been getting halloween movies like every year or 2. Not saying everyone of them would have been awesome, but its great to keep the franchise alive . So many missed opportunities. TS1 is almost 400 pgs, and TSII is almost 600 so lots to digest.
Re-reading right now, pretty ridicoulous that 11 minutes of additional footage for TV for the 78 , cost more than making the actual movie.l!

The alien stuff is always great. I actually have a couple of alien grail pieces in the pipeline… just negotiating prices at the mo as the original price for 2 is totally bonkers

Ya its worth it for all the little tidbits. Really goes in depth comparing tv versions , theatrical versions, novels, scripts, various writers. DGG was such a nerd he even took stuff from unused scripts and used them in the trilogy. I think thats what bothered me the most , its cool to have easter eggs and stuff but he just went overboard . Really is a mish mash of parts from every film , unused scripts/ideas. Needed more original ideas; which is why the soundtrack and the masks stand out as high points IMO.
The let it burn line was an unused piece of dialogue from the H4 script , micheal hiding in a closet was from an unused scene in the finale of H4. Micheal “transferring” evil through touch alla Ends, was another unused idea from H4, jamie touches him and we see flashes of images . A guy jumps off a building (cochrane coaxes him) in an H3 unused idea.
Also of note, it really sucks Carpenters heart just wasnt into making Halloween movies, he felt like he did everything already in the first film. Another reason why Halloween movies took so much time to make. They kept hounding him till he just sold off his share. Just some examples. Dont worry theres like 100+ more just thought id share.

Yes it would be amazing to see the original H6 script even though I really appreciate the film as a whole..it just could have been even better.
I have a copy of the producers cut and I’ve got to say I did actually prefer it over the theatrical version. After obviously the original and H2 its probably my third favourite halloween.
I personally dislike H5 and ressurection and the newer trilogy could and should have been so much creepier. But everyone to their own. Honerable mention though to H4..if the mask was better that film would have ruled.

No prob Shape, thanks for taking the time to read it. I do like a lot of what we got , but ya what could have been ? I mean the guy kept a bible of Halloween details, he really gave a shit.
Makes fun of the runes that stop micheal, calls them the magical acorns lol so obviously that was not in his script. Its too bad Micheal doesnt come face to face with loomis one last time , huge missed oppurtunity. And sad that Pleasence past before the reshoots.
Ya H5 was an interesting read too. Im not a huge fan of it either. Director was not the right choice and it was super rushed .Right about H4 too, mask is laughable. Interesting they also cut a pretty graphic kill short, where he jams a crowbar down a guys throat, they actually did it with a fake head and everything and had the throat open up when it was shoved in, but was cut , deemed too graphic. Resurrection should not even made it past the developing stage.

Fuck gunna be a big job sealing up this sucker . Reminds me of beetlejuice, plague masks , spy vs spy, and the joker turned inside out lol, and i wish i had known better years ago and not super glued mesh to the inside. Its all cracking, but its just the glue cracking not the latex ,still fixeable .
Also, on the pumpkin mask, im gunna cut off/out some of the back gumline, possibly cut out some extra teeth, and add permablood just dont know what i could use to seal permablood if i put it on the actual mask as its made of foam?
The jaw actually moves with the wearer , which is pretty awesome.
