the hair looks way better now man, just matte it down a little on the bullet hole side, the hair kinda hangs down a bit in the pic on that side but it looks killer
Yeah that looks much better man…It makes you feel good too huh…God I wish I had the skills to make mask…When I touch up mask and get them looking just a little bit better it makes me feel great…I can only imagine the feeling of a great sculpt…But you did a good job bro…Later man
good job johnson. glad we could help
yea understand matting down the hair over the bullet hole but when i get the prosthetic on i think i’ll be able to pull off the huge hole look haha… plus i dont really wanna mess the hair up tooooo much after all is wasnt cheap
I fully understand what you’re saying about a mask not being cheap, I have a psycho and its a little nerve wrecking to mess with the hair too much. Can’t wait to see the bullet hole wound prosthetic underneath
i cant wait either…i have a vague idea what it MIGHT look like it could look horrible!!! but we’ll seeeee
Does look better with the hair matted dow. I think what it needs is a darker “powder burn” around the missing chunks of latex, as well as a darker “coagulated” blood near the torn areas as well. That’s what I’d do
thats what i had in mind, the fake blood i bought coagulates so that will work around the big big hole and the other one i’m just gonna darken up with a little blackish/gray makeup to hopefully pull this off
Cool man… it’ll really come together then. I learned this from doing a lot of art work, especially a background in body art… you kind of just have to GO for it… being scared of what may be, or what COULD happen will just hold back the creative juices… just roll with it… just apply in small doses
yep art and sculpture run in my blood all of my moms side of the family are art people mostly sculpture who knows i may be the next mask maker on the forum
that mask is pretty damn sweet
congrats

thanks man i will be posting new pics this weekend of my full costume for our local haunted house this year, also in my knife thread i’ll be posting completed pics of it as well
Cool mask bro! I had wanted one but held off because I dont think it’ll fit my noggin. I might get it for display but only if its more accurate to the publicity pic.
So the later masks got a different paint job? I think the mask definately needs the coagulated blood and burn marks.
Yeah, that is a good bit of advice, i mean water will be good for meessing around with the hair and it isn’t harmful to the mask, so if i was you i would do what caesar015 said.
oh, sorry, i didn’t notice there’s three pages, lol. Btw, that hair brush worked wonders, it looks so much better
yea the mask actually looks a lot better in person than my picture taking skills make it look… i mean after all casey does makeup stuff for a living so of course his display pic is gonna look bad ass we just need to learn his tricks lol anyways here are a few full costume pics that i will be using in “my room” of the haunted house, pics were taken in my room of the house soooo let me know what ya’ll think and if ur in nc check us out…
Looks good man. I can’t wait to get my PsychopatH2 mask but the Carhartts would just spark it up one more notch but you look awesome.
yea i had some carhartts but i didnt like how they looked on my body style in comparison with the mask sooo i opted for the cheap-o mechanics navy blue coveralls
That looks real creepy dude, and i just can’t get over how good that hair looks now, just after a brush, lol. That is one sweat mask!
Most Carhartts look bulky I suggest removing the lining and you will be good to go.
