Hi I am new to posting on this site but I have been checking it out for a while.
I have to thank Justin because he did an amazing job on this mask. He really is a professional at what he does.
I was wondering if you guys could tell me the best ways to preserve a mask. I know to keep it out of the sunlight but is any kind of lighting bad for it? I saw on a website that using soap and a wash cloth was a good way to keep it clean. Is this true? Is a acyrillic case safe to use?
I am using a styrofoam ball at the top of the towel holder to hold the mask up. You will see bits and pieces at the base of the towel holder. Styrofoam is a bit messy.

I love how Justin outlines the eyeholes, on his masks, as well, that also gives a creepy H-1 vibe!!

Don’t keep it under fluorescent lights for a long period.
Keep it in a dark room.
Keep your mask stuffed with plastic bags to keep it’s shape.
Wipe the inside with a damp cloth after use. Be sure to wipe real well where you breath. When dryed, powder the inside with corn starch.
Keep your mask dust free. I use canned air.
Hey thanks a lot guys for the kind words and advice. It’s awesome to be part of the group now. This is my first mask and I am really excited about it. It’s kind of a cross between the first and second movie. It’s shows some wear but at the sametime doesn’t look so worn. Justin told me that it would give off a h1 or h2 look considering the shape of the face that it is worn on. He was right.
The one thing I couldn’t figure out is how to post up the whole pictures without having to scroll down and up on them. So I am sorry about that.
nice mask man congrats… justin is great… keep it out the sunlight, try to buy a case, dont smoke around it… don’t use stryrofoam its bad for the latex … go to walmart, they sell paper towel holder bounty for 6 dollars… it works great…
I was originally going to go with a more weathered H2 look but then Justin showed me pics of the mask as it is now and told me that it was one of his favorites. It had a very H1ish look to it and I really liked it as it was so I told Justin that I would take that badboy as it was. I like the weathered features that he put on it especially the neck area.
