I’d like to start this off by stating that I am not trying to get anyone started on a rant. Just seeking answers:
I ordered a new Buried on July 6th of this year. Does anyone with recent experience with DT know his actual waiting time. I have no problem waiting, I’d just like to know when I can expect the mask. Granted, I DID tell him to take his time because I want it to look “perfect.” I had a first run that I had to sell because it started “melting” and I was afraid to wear it again. I’d also like to see some pics of any recent Burieds purchased from DT if anyone would be so kind as to indulge me. I have the entire line already, so I’m only interested in seeing the Buried as I’m very happy with my original run clean, dream sequence and half-mask.
On another note, I do have a Revolver that I cut myself and had QOTS repair some of the spots where I went overboard. However, it was a blank and I’m not too happy with the unfinished look. Are there any reputable artists out there who offer repaints on these masks. Included is a picture of the Revolver after Scott fixed it for me.
I ordered a White Satin from him around mid October. Just contacted him yesterday and he said he will be working on getting mine shipped to me this month.
I hate to break it to ya, but that won’t happen. He likes to tell you wants you wanna hear so you leave him alone for a bit. He told me my mask would arrive in time for Halloween and I still don’t have it. Last time I emailed him he said it was boxed up in his shop and that was over a month ago. Don’t mean to rain on your parade, but just don’t get your hopes up too much.
I’m not in any hurry. The only reason I asked him if because I’ll be going out of town for the first half of February and if it happens to be shipped during that time frame I’ll have to have a neighbor keep an eye out for it
