Hey guys, i thought maybe you can help me out with this. I want to order a H78 from Nikolas as soon as possible…The sculpture looks so amazingly awesome and movie accurate! And the pics posted here of your masks looks so mindblowing! But there’s only one thing though; on this forum i only see h78’s wich are converted by JC or AHG, but i was wondering how a copy looks like wich isn’t converted.
Does anyone here owns a H78 wich isn’t converted?
Since NAG’s price for this mask isn’t very low, i expect to get an awesome mask wich doesn’t really need an conversion. Don’t get me wrong; i think the JC and AHG conversions look totally amazing and they are doing great work! But i don’t want to pay extra (at this moment) for an already very expensive mask.
Also, regarding the size of this mask…my head is quite large (“24.5”), do you suggest the h78 retool? Or does the original h78 also comes in a larger size?
Here is one I converted myself. Sprayed the hair darker with dark brown hair colouring, styled it and added more definition to the features through shading with a light airbrushing. You could do this just as well with charcoal.
Straight from NAG. Needless to say going straight to JC.
Hope yours turns out better than this one.
Theres nothing wrong with Niks finishing. The only thing I can see wrong with ‘‘Slasher75s’’ mask is the hair. The paint job is just as good as something from Nightowl or CGP.
Take it easy

Personally… I think the finishing work on that one is very nice. Nice and clean… Perfect for a good H1. I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with the finishing work on this mask at all…
Sorry brother but the mask you showed its the old h78 finishing the h78s now are much more detailed in hair and paint, its been more than 1 year that i stopped using this hair because it was too fluffy.
I still love the mask to death, the hair is great,it’s a great idea that hair.Great eyes and paint job.Of course i like that other one a whole bunch ACTUALLY I WOULD LOVE TO GET MY HANDS ON THAT COPY…You really can not go wrong with any of the masks you make. Thanks AGAIN for it,i love it.V/R,ellis.
