Been getting impatient for Halloween treats, so I’ve decided to undertake the task of buying up as many promotional magazines as I can get my hands on with the intent of scanning the images within at as high a resolution as my computer will allow without crashing my scanner (yes, that has happened in the past). I’ve also attempted to digitally restore many of the images for color and clarity without inhibiting their aesthetic value.
First things first, though, a couple images I screencapped out of an old promotional news reel for the first movie. Shows off the Myers house from the side, as well as the only known footage of the Myers house backyard!
THESE images are a puzzle to me. I have strong suspicion they’re from the production of Halloween Kills. I found them on Google Images late last night and and baffled by them because not only have I never seen them posted anywhere before, but they seem to be REALLY good shots of the Myers house.

Yeah, I think so. Well, except for the opening, which was shot in (almost) one take, included a lot of exterior shots that seemed to be shot at night.

I believe they are from the South Pasadena Public Library. Here’s another from 1987, a year before the house got moved.

I think it’s during the key drop-off scene when Myers peaks out. The drop-cloth is probably to make it nice and dark inside

I’ll consider my theory busted haha. It’s practically spelled out for me 
But I was sure they might’ve done the same for Myers because the windows would’ve shown too much light inside
