Having only been a member of this forum for about 2 weeks I have already seen 3 of these sorry ass excuse / asking for a second chance threads. It amazes me how these people have the nerve to come back here and ask for another chance Or with there sob story of why they took good hard working decent peoples money or possessions , if they had a single ounce of integrety about them they would refund the person through PayPal and that’s it not come on here with excuses saying ’ oh I will pay you back when I can ’ … talk is cheap ! These people need I crawl back in the hole they came from .
I’ve got lucky 2 different times in the past. I won’t mention any names but, 2 members on here were very close to getting hammer brought down on them lol 
But, with a few strongly suggestive pm’s they finally came through. Its a d@mn shame because it almost made me get out of the hobby. When some of these people get your money and the first excuse comes not to much worry. But, then the second excuse comes after that no communication at all. To all scammers, potential scammers, your supposed wives/girlfriends/parents/etc. who get on here & “speak on your behalf” (not the legitimate cases…y’all know which ones I’m talking about) :
We don’t want your sob-stories, your lame excuses (“I grew up rough” - frak you, we ALL grew up rough,) your empty apologies or any other attempt to screw us over again. Aside from our money back, all we want is your ABSENCE.
Thank you for posting this, Deep Red I feel like I’m the only person this guy screwed over who isn’t scared to step forward. I know what he looks like & how big he is. I’m a skinny toothpick that Bobby could probably snap in half with two fingers…but I’ll still step right in his ugly face & tell him what a low-life POS he is if ever given the chance; & that’s a promise 
When that kid EvilB*tchGFX tried to scam me, it was almost comical. He had 2 posts and stole a members pic to PM to me as a trade. Of course it was a beautiful NAG/JC H2 75K that got my attention… but had too good to be true written all over it.
Luckily in over 12 years of collecting, I have still have not been scammed. Many have tried - all have failed. Even Dan Drista tried to scam me back in the day! I do my own investigating thoroughly before ever committing to a sale or trade. Sad thing is that these guys are ruining the hobby for so many out there. Guys are just losing interest in Myers/Kirks simply because they cannot trust others.
My advice is to get to know others here well and communicate often. You will find out who has been around for years and who is trustworthy. Today, I have only a handful of GOOD guys that I deal with and that’s all I need. The rest of the scammer trash can go to the dump where they belong!

Just a small update on this Greg dude who scammed me. He has pretty much disappeared again, I think he realised his ridiculous “I’m looking for a job” story hasn’t worked. I doubt I’ll ever get my money back but I would gladly do without my refund if it meant an end to these scumbags tarnishing this hobby I love. Long story short, ban them and keep them banned.

Yea, Im sorry you lost your money, but if that guy was really going to give your money back, you would already have it. Just a cheep attempt to scam more people. His day will come, I just hope you hear about it so you can have a good

The scammers have really hurt this hobby more than anyone/anything else ever could. Zero Tolerance is the ONLY acceptable form of action towards these creeps, not opening the door back to let them in again.

If your kinda new to things, take a little time to ask around before you make a purchase…Dont be scared to talk to some of the old timers… it will save you a headach at the end of the day.

this has all been said manytimes before…one the other side of the coin, some people get taken by no fault of their own, but… then again, some people are just dumb as hell… it takes more than just complaining to make changes.
