I know we all have been debating on the layers in which the costume is worn. Well, I i messaged Tyler Mane over the issue, and he was kind enough to take the time to respond. And from he said:

that was established early…the real question is did the coat or hoodie or BOTH have hoods attached to them at one point? never both hoods on coat an vest at same time but i think they used both methods coat with hood then at times vest with hood
well without a doubt the hood was attached to the vest.
Yeah I believe that it was sewed on the the vest too. Thats also how I did mine.
OKAY EXACTLY it appears that way ALOT BUT thats not ALWAYS the case look in this promo pic he isnt even wearing the vest just the coat…
yeah and if thats right that vest dont got a hood either
well im pretty sure that the ones without the sewn on hoods were majority spares. most likely if they had to quickly reshoot something they would do that hoping the average eye wouldnt realize but the intended look was always to be a vest with a hood
i thought i answered this already.
you can see in the pic you have posted here, that it is the dickies jacket with the hood- but IT IS sewed into the camo jacket- which if you look to the right side of his chest in this pic you can see the diamond pattern camo coat.
its done how i had stated it was in the other post you did.
i do not beleive he is wearing any type of camo or you would see the diamond pattern an a little camo on BOTH sides…i think your seeing lining of some sort
it must be attached to the vest because tyler mentioned no hoodie. and obviously it cant be attached to the coveralls, flannel jacket, or coat
He is wearing the vest the angle of the shot doesn’t show it crystal clear but he is wearing the vest. It is really grungy,nasty and dirty you can also tell in the picture because the vest and hoodie are 2 different materials.
here is a pic where the hood is attached to vest…and mikibanes im sorry im gonna have to disagree brother i beleive he ISNT wearing the vest perhaps someone could blow that up largger but here is the hood on the vest
