cmon the h6 mask is terrible. its not scary looking at all and dosnt even look good. its either the original or h20. but its not h6 either way
in my opinion scariest creepy looking masks were in H4 and H5
many people obviously disagree with you
dont know why, the whole halloween 6 film is terrible and the way myers is in it just makes it worse
George P wilbur H6 By far! Always stood out to me vicious!
Castle.Warlock.Mane.
I’m sorry, I might have misread the question. My first answer is true (if it’s between those three at the top of page 1 of this thread).
Otherwise, I’d have to say Dick Warlock, and Tyler Mane are the closest to scary when it comes to the series/movies as a whole.
Like I said before, I like Dick Warlock for the way he looked with the mask on, the way he moved, and his overall eeriness. Warlock to me was scary in an Insane/Evil sort of way, he is the Michael Myers that despite not being very physically intimidating/imposing in size, he still manages to give off that vibe that would make me feel very uneasy if I were in his presence, (witch to me is a rarity).
As I have also stated before, I like Tyler Mane as Michael Myers merely based on his physically intimidating appearance, and his violent brutality, as opposed to the eeriness I got from Warlock. I cant say Tyler Mane is scary in a Spooky/Creepy sort of way, just more of the painfully die at the hand’s of this monstrous, ruthless, relentless, un-remourseful, psychopathic killer sort of way, I think he got that point across pretty well, lol. I also thought (given the odd he was up against) he did a swell job portraying the character of Michael Myers as well.
Sorry for the long post guys. …ANDY
I’d have to say Dick Warlock was the most frightening, plus that’s the face I always remember when I think of Michael Myers.
In order:
H1 - Nick showed his inner psychopath and is always the true Shape. He created Myers.
RZ H1 - Mane is a beast. A monster. Godzilla. His size is intimidating and he made me scared to walk home alone from the theatre. A brutal Myers who brought the fear back.
H6 - Wilbur is dark, creepy, and menacing. One of my favorite Myers.
H5 - This was the first Halloween I saw as a kid, and the entire scene when he’s stabbing the laundry shaft with Jamie stuck inside was enough to make me cringe and look away. He was really intense.
H2 - One word: Clogs.
You have to have some amazing skill to pick someone up off the ground with a knife.
RZ H2 - Michael without his mask was scary enough as it is. But the only scary thing about him. Mane could have done way better if the storyline was better. The beginning of it was brutal, though.
H4 - Eh. Mutual.
H20 - Reminded my of H2 with the knife suspension, but was more methodic, calm and not as scary.
RESSURECTION - I hated Durand. He DID NOT deserve to wear the costume. A very poor Myers.

agree with you there, it was bad
Great Thread and posts Gang!
I must say Nick Castle’s performance intrigued me more than anything else, + it was what made me the fan Iam today
The scariest myers are:
WARLOCK (H2)
WILBUR (H6)
MANE (RZH1)
agree with you there, it was bad[/quote]
Durand didnt play Michael in resurrection,Brad Loree did and Durand played Michael in H20. Resurrection was just a really bad movie.
I say it a close H1 and H2 for me. Michael in H1 had that stalker/killer theme. He always just seemed to be THERE. No matter where you looked, The Shape always just seems to turn up, and that really creeps me out.
On the other hand, in H2 Michael was just a brutal killer, and let nothing, from boiling water, to having both eyes shot out, get in his way to kill.
as the thread started the choices were H4, 5, and 6. out of those i too would say H6 is the scarriest Myers.
but hey, mask or no mask, crazy or sane, im staying the hell away from any man thats had a baby guess that was their way of writing the beer gut into the story…just say he has recently had a baby
We watched pt 6 lastnight and I agree with you host, and that’s the scariest by far.
