Second attempt, round 2 (paint up)

Well, i’m not sure if any of you remember my thread 2 weeks ago. Pretty much my failed mask painting attempt (due to using something recommended over liquid latex at an art store).

So I stripped it, and here’s my 2nd attempt.

I went with a more aggressive dirty look for fun, it’s my first attempt so I thought I’d have some fun. Unfortunately I didn’t really take the time to clean it up and get rid of all the “acne” (I guess you can call it that?) before I started painting… but again, that kind of adds to the look.

Here’s what I started with…

here’s where I’m at so far.

I’m thinking about going back over with some thing white layers to give it more of that Myers’ feel.

Thanks guys. I’m wondering if I should even touch it really or let it stay in this “RAW” looking form… just ordered some mohair.

I think the rough “acne” texture gives it a unique quality…I personally LOVE it! :smiley: Makes me miss a certain mask even more that I just sold that I’ll probably, unfortunately, not be able to reacquire :frowning:

I’d hold onto that beauty - it’s coming along VERY nice :wink:

I’m thinking about using black mohair on this bad boy to give it an even more crazy look… what do you guys think?
