Sinister Studios masks

if you want to save money by the tots elrod for 55 bucks and have it worked on by s&sfx.he will re-hair and repaint it for 85 bucks and his work is awesome.he has done all my tots masks and his part 5 mask is baddass.140 bucks and you will have a mask every bit as accurate as a creep or nag mask

I have a Sinister Studios Obsession mask and I love it. Worth every penny! Pics don’t do it justice until you see it in person. But that’s just my opinion, You also can never go wrong with getting a Creep.

I don’t know guys for an original sculpt the obsession is a pretty good mask for the price… Like with all mask some copies are stunner compared to others… Not all the great Myers mask this hobby has seen over the years has lineage to a Kirk mask… Accuracy can be achieved without lineage to a Kirk…In the end the most important thing is how you the individual sees the mask… If you like it that’s all that matters… This hobby can be outrageous for the higher end pieces… So it’s nice that there are somewhat accurate mask out there at prices people less financially capable can afford… It allows people to do exactly that… Enjoy this… I say just be happy they’re happy… We all know that feeling coming home to find that box knowing a new score is waiting inside it…

Try not to be too obsessed with the idea of screen accurate. No much you spend and how much you work, you still may not hit your own Mark. Remember, his looked changed not only from movie to movie, but from scene to scene depending on lighting and who wore the mask. A lot of guys here achieve the results they want for display pieces, not for wearing.

My point is, work within your budget. Get things that look good in your mind eye, then have fun. Anything you do will look better than 95% of the other costumers if you follow the advice you get here. Just my 2 cents. I have a $200 HSS Maniacal I got on a black Friday special years ago. In the right lighting with proper stuffing, it looks pretty good. On me, it’s okay. But only us crazy fans remember specifics. The public will see Mikey

I couldn’t have said it any better Caesar, that feeling of a box with your score, ahh yeahhh it’s like Christmas morning, no better feeling

The obsession is without a doubt a great sculpt for being an original. I’m sure that sculpt took more talent than most members have in their pinky finger. However, the creep is definitely more accurate and worth your money. Let these pics of Kaizu wearing his creep speak for themselves. It may be more money, but as many have said- you get what you pay for.

It’s not an obsession but Sinister does make the Hiro which is supposed to trace it’s lineage to a 75 Kirk. I’ve had one for a few months, it’s not that much more than the obsession and I love it!

The Obsession isn’t a bad mask per se, it’s just not the best. You can get a Creep for less than $300 by looking second-hand. People will often give you a good deal if they’re looking to sell a mask. By using a WTB ad I’m confident you could get a great deal on one of the very popular Night Owl or NAG masks.

Ah, a classic! Not as accurate as some of the later masks to the hobby, but a serious classic piece of latex from the early days of Myers collecting. The Hiro also has better hair than the Obsession, which I find has the hair much too short.
