wow, this is the best thread ever, the maniac is the best h1 out there imo, simply for its originality! i love em, its a shame i can’t afford one. i was thinking of getting a lunatic as a cheaper alternative as they look very similar, but i don’t know??? 
i need to take some new pics of this badboy, Maniacs look brutally cool! hands down my favorite ‘concept’ mask if you will.
no offence Matthew but honestly your possibly going to chage your mind on several Myers masks over the next several months to a year. it happened to me when i was first exposed to seemingly endless versions of my horror icon hero, as i think it happens to everyone.
when i joined i thought, hell ive seen the original Halloween hundreds of times, i know what looks right and whats off. well, after awhile i changed my mind on several masks, i seen different pics under different lighting conditions and then certain features would just seem to jump out at me.
indeed your memory of the movie scenes and personal taste will dominate your Myers mask preference, but im willing to bet that there are afew masks, such as the Maniac, that you dont care much for that you will grow to love and afew masks that you currently really like that you will grow away from and end up thinking its not as accurate as you first percieved it to be. these Myers masks are VERY strange like that.

When i first saw the maniac i hated it, then it grew on me to the point where i think its one of the most mean looking Myers masks out there!Mine should be here in a month or so!! 
I love my MANIAC more then any other myers mask because when I look at it,it looks back with a attitude problem.Amy
