100% agreed, it is what makes the hobby much more fun. People used to dump hundreds of pictures on you every day lol. And I was very happy if I could contribute any half way ok pics.
Taking costume shots back then was a real pain in the rearside. The masks (at least mine) were all so flawed you had to play a lot with lighting to hide those flaws and emphasize the sweet spots. That and shitty camera quality plus not as advanced software to alter the pics.
