An early birthday present to myself 
I finished this mask as if Tommy Lee Wallace ( Halloween production designer) would have just sprayed the Hero mask white & misted the hair black right before shooting the film. I used lots of new techniques for this one, new cuts, new paint style, new hair application & the Krylon streak n tips spray for the hair. The spray used was definitely a contributing factor to the weathering, dirt, & scuff marks we see on the mask. The consistency is almost powder like & comes off in your fingers… so if the mask was being handle roughly throughout the filming, I can see now how it gathered some signature stains and marks. The hair fiber used is the closest thing to the Kirk hair you can have… & misted giving it that authentic H1 castle hero look. Lots of big things coming from Spookhouse Props! By the way, yes that’s how the mask actually got dirty in filming. In H2, Dick Warlock would pull on the hair, then the nose to take the mask off, which is how the paint in the hair transferred to the mask
