I keep hearing people talking about the original v1 SSN h3 trio being better. i have the witch #3 out of 13 and a pumpkinhead #2 out of no clue non wearable. it was repainted by Rob Tharp exactally same color as he used to paint it in the movie… so was there a 1st original run, then was there a 2nd run well trio set sean made being limited to?? and finally the TLW signature set he sells now? i’m a lil confused was the 1st run the best out of all of them. what was the diffrence in the trio sets was one better then the other was one set larger then the other set i’m a bit confused lol. also were all the H3 mask’s the witch, skull, and pumpkin all limited to a certain #. like i said i have a witch #3 out of 13 and the pumpkin was this the very first set he made and everyone say’s that is the best? would anyone happen to know when or what year they were made and released it would soooo be a big help… so if anyone has any info on the ssn’s H3 trio’s PLEASE help me out. i know there’s some awsome members that know’s all the history on these sets for fact… the 2 i have are they keepers that i should hold on to for sure are they pretty hard to find or rare if they are the original v1 H3 trio.

Ask Jason (GoBears) or Steve (Dual) they both seem to know quite a bit about these masks. I have an original run pumpkin #4 of 31. I have been looking for an SSN witch and skull for a while to match up with my pumpkin. I think they also came with an evil chip tag. Mine did

My pumpkin is #2 i wonder if it’s from the same run as yours. is your’s wearable mine isn’t it’s cast thick with no slit. and it didn’t come with the shamrock chip. it has the silver shamrock molded on the side ive heard sean’s first H3 set didn’t come with chips… this is sooooo confusing about the history on ssn’s H3 trio’s what year the v1 came out in… i don’t know if even the most die hard H3 fan could tell me… well besides me being i die hard H3 fan myself gbtm ok…
Mine is wearable, but I have kind of a small head. It is for sure from the first run. It is kind of thick and also has the molded shamrock. It came with an evil chip tag but it was not attached. Did you get yours from SSN or from an individual? Here is mine.
The original Pumpkinhead mask from Don Post Studios did not have their backs slit up and had a small opening at the bottom for wearing. These masks were made for kids; I have a small adult head and I still would not even think about putting that on my head. The SSN one I have was from their original run cast off the screen used one and appears to be slightly smaller than my DPS original. The SSN ones also appear to have a LARGER opening at the bottom for wearing fun too. A little less detail as well from being a re-cast but I can over look that basically on the rarity of the mask itself.
