Cool! I must point out, however, that there are two axes in Part 3, and not only from the perspective of the story. The one used by Jason to chop a hole in the hall closet door (which he did intend to use as a weapon) has a different handle and of a different color from the prop axe/hatchet used by Chris toward the end of the movie. I don’t know if there even is a real hatchet that has a handle (particularly a shoulder) like that one.
I’m trying to find a pair of pants like the ones Jason wears in part 6, but I’m not sure what kind to look for exactly. Has the brand of pants in part 6 ever been found? Are they work pants, chinos, khakis? I’ve also been trying to find a pair that will nail the fit as they do in the film. They seem to have a straight, slim fit, but are somewhat loose at the same time. Also, the length seems to be pretty long considering how the shreds at the bottom of the legs cover the boots. For what it’s worth, I’ve heard that since a larger actor played as Jason first, when CJ Graham was brought in, the costume designer had to alter the size of the pants in some way. Any advice on what to look for what be greatly appreciated!
Yes CJ is a tank so I’m sure they had to alter the past and they definitely looked tighter on him. A lot of people don’t realize the pants are actually a silver-grey colour they are not khaki although in some scenes they look sort of like khaki.
I don’t know if they’ve ever determine the brand of the pants, I bought some silver gray work pants that looked close for mine and weathered them.
Here is a reference photo from the set of CG taking a break wearing them you can see you they’re quite greyish silver. There’s a couple other photos I still have stashed that I used for a reference way back as well. Hope this helps.
@TheGhostlyShape Whats up Nathan? I may have found the Friday 5 boots these are new old stock never worn boots.
They are Georgia brand boots, but alot closer than the last pair. It has the thick white stitching attaching the soles.
It has the smooth neoprene treads/soles, and the straight stitch going down the brass collets/laces.
They also have the stitching on the ankle, that the last model I bought was missing that stitched heel cap
It has the identifying marks and stitches, the dark chocolate brown leather. Mind you these have never been worn
so the leather is shiny and not broken in
Me too! I hope we pin them down after all this. Very few brands I found have the right stitching/soles.
Heres the peebay link if you know anyonw with tiny feet
I’m tempted as hell to get those for my Eric Draven costume! but I would put black boot polish on them, they’re a damn near perfect match to what Brandon wore!
@TheGhostlyShape Hey Nathan I think I found the Jason takes manhattan boots. They have the right stitching/rivets/white sole stitching
and the red logos on the sole, you see them when he shatters the subway door with his boot.
They are made by gorilla a canadian brand of boots readily available in canada.
It has the square/rectangle shaped stitch to finish off the side leather on the lacers. It also has the really thick white stitching on the soles
Holy poop, mario kirner just released some videos for the screen used jason stuff, they showed the bottom of the boot for jason takes manhattan
A really good close up of the logo on the sole of the Jason takes manhattan boots
Ive searched high and low for years to try and find something of a close match to the Part 2 flannel and I see nothing that mimics the design of it, anyone here have any suggestions?
Oh yeah its loonnngg discontinued. Ive been looking for blue flannels everywhere that match as close as possible. Ralph Lauren is the closest Ive found yet
