Frankie, we’ve already spoke on this but I just have to comment. Unbelievable copy. It captures the same “ora” photographs of the mask, post-filming, radiates. I /feel/ like I’m looking at unearthed private photographs of the original mask. Fantastic work from James as always, and wonderful concept from you.
DeathClutch, you are one lucky bastard!! If you EVER want to let this bad boy go, which I know is unlikely, let me know!
And James, amazing work! We are all blessed to have such a talented person in this hobby. Not only is your work out of this world, but so is your dedication and personality.

Frankie , you have yourself a mask that needs to stay with you for the rest of your life. It does not get better that this my man.
And as far as James goes, what’s not to like about James? The guy is a sweetheart of a man who never let his unremarkable talent get to his head. James also a guy I consider a friend. I mean, the man is only one of a few on this board who knows all of my personal stuff. He knows all the crap that I’ve been dealing with for this past year. But again, congrats on owing such a fine piece, Frankie. Cant wait to see more pics of this bad boy.

A Kirk would have been nice but what you ended up with is about as close to owning the Hero as you can get.

^This…glad things worked out between you both. James you outdid yourself with this one big time. ![]()
I could not agree more, James! Thanks again for everything, buddy! ![]()
And a big “THANK YOU” to everyone else, for the awesome replies!

Words can not describe the beauty of this master piece!! BIG CONGRATS!!
That just might be the best paint job I’ve ever seen on a Myers period. It really does look like “The Mask”!
Congrats Frankie and congrats on your friendship with James.

Very unique conversion my man. I’m glad you went this way. I remember saying "cut them eyes out " lol. I love this mask. Such a beautiful conversion. No need for you to ever purchase another one. James really pulled a humdinger for sure. I’m Very happy for you my friend.
Thank you, Glen and KKF! I’m absolutely beyond happy with this mask, and I’m glad that you guys dig it, as well! ![]()
Thank you for the kind reply, Randall. I also think that “unique” is a good word to describe this mask. I don’t like to think in terms of “better” or “best”, but this one is certainly different, and the finishing turned out exactly as I requested!
I’m very glad you and James got to have a talk and work it out in the way that the both of you could forget what happened between you…
Frankie, huge congrats! This mask must mean more to you guys than ‘just’ another perfect replica of the Hero, I bet this piece represents true friendship as well.
Wow man, what a gem! To say that this mask might just be the mask of ALL masks would probably be the understatement of the century.

Yes; tthis mask certainly has a ton of value to me beyond what it looks like. ![]()
Wow - what a compliment! Thank you so much! ![]()
In my opinion, this is the best and most accurate Myers mask replica yet. The mask and the finishing make for a very convincing copy. Awesome job, James! Massive congrats, Frankie. This is indeed, “The Mask”. ![]()
Mark
Thank you, Mark. You’ve been in the game a long time and have a great eye for detail, so those are big words coming from you, my friend! It definitely has the look that I requested, which was a bit out of the norm for James, but he totally nailed it to a “T”. I don’t think I’ll ever feel the need to purchase another Myers replica. This one just “does it” for me.
Here is a comparison in which the angle is not exact, as I need to stuff the mouth/jaw region a bit in order to match the hero mask’s shape in Warlock’s Polaroid photo, but I feel that this comparison illustrates a nice likeness, nonetheless.

WOW! I think the look you decided to go for was definitely accomplished, Frankie… The mask looks incredible! Love the pics, and the final 6 really nail the Styrofoam head/Hero shots, IMO!
I couldn’t agree with you more when it comes to James… Not only is his work phenomenal, but he’s so professional from start to finish! I’ve had multiple dealings with Mr. Carter, and they’ve all been extremely pleasant, and he really goes the extra mile to make you happy!
Congrats, Frankie! …ANDY
Nice vintage feel and look!
I’m sure some of you have already picked up on this but I just noticed that James altered the proper left nostril to make it match perfectly with the “post-filming” hero mask. The eye for detail with James is beyond amazing!!
I ran this thru a photoshop program to give it an old Polaroid, bent worn look.
If you cam up to me and said this was from Dick Warlock, I’d 100% believe you.

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen! Great edit, Billy! ![]()
Here’s one more picture from me. James mentioned having a few more pictures to post, as well. Very much looking forward to seeing those! ![]()
