The SSN & BH Sixes Have Arrived!

I just want to begin by giving a very thankful shout out to Neonfire92 and Chill223. They were both very pleasant to deal with and I received both masks in no time flat. On to the pictures!

There’s actually a GPW on eBay right now!

That pic reminds me of Bowie and Jagger singing Dancing in the Street.

Your copies of the BH and SSN Six are absolutely drool-worthy Ramonesome! I’ve always wondered, why do a select few of the BH Sixes have the longer neck? Is it just a matter of customer preference?

The original sculpt has a long neck. The H6s were trimmed, H20 uncut.

Thanks man, My BH copy was one of the early ones, number 2 or 3. Definitely post some comparison pics when you get yours.

I’ve got another question for the H6 mask aficionados. How many Six masks has Brad sold since he started? I know he’s been offering them for around 3-4 years now. Even so, I imagine not too many considering he only deals with people within the mask collecting community.

If I’m correct he made 30 copies from the original mold, and 5-6 masks from new mold.

My understanding was he did the original run of three, and then when there was demand for more knocked out another dozen or so until the mold was “toast.” Then he started knocking out copies of the larger sized version, I’d say I’ve seen at least 6 of those, which could mean there’s at least a dozen out there.

As god awful as that song is, even by 80’s standards, the video is even worse. Looks like a student film made for ten bucks and the two of them are clearly coming off a divergent benders. Yes, these masks embody that perfectly, nice catch.

Haha! To be fair most videos back then looked cheap. The Flock of Seagulls “I Ran” video had tinfoil used to make it look futuristic.

A little history lesson for the younger set. Here’s what I was referencing.

Both are great masks. I had both and wanted to keep one. I decided on the Six but you can’t go wrong with owning both.

I think I’ll have the Hardin repainted to be more white than blue. I think when the paint is lighter in color, it makes the sculpt shine more so than when it’s dark.

As far as the fit goes for both of these masks, the Hardin Six fits the most comfortably. The SSN Six nearly suffocated me when I put it on. I suppose I could slit it up the back a bit more, but I don’t want to risk damaging it. Anyway, both are great masks! Thanks for looking.

More pics please :sunglasses:

I miss it SOOOOO much!

Many Congrats my friend! Both are fine looking masks. I need to me a H6 at some point.
