Theoretically, in the H6 universe...

Now I know and understand that there are mixed emotions about Halloween 6, but I was watching the Producer’s Cut last night (and watching the Director’s Cut right now) and thought about Tommy’s theory.

If Michael only attacks when the Thorn is present, then couldn’t Haddonfield eventually learn of the druid’s power and learn to “live” with it?

This is how I see it (according to Tommy’s theory): Michael only kills his family (others are just people who got in the way), and he believes anyone who lives in his house is his family…so, in theory, a simple solution would be to A: leave the house vacant, or B: just tear it down. And since he only attacks when the Thorn is present, scientists (or whoever) could predict when it will happen, and that would be the only time the town would have to worry, but again, just leave the house vacant and stay inside and nobody gets hurt…in theory.

I’m just rambling…

Thoughts?

I personally think it is futile to try and theorize with fictional characters as they don’t exist!..The movie had alot of wierd crap going on in it but it’s entertaining as a peice of cinema.

GG

Well I’d say we didn’t get far enough after H6 to find out…

But a very good point you have Nick.

I know it’s just a movie and I’m reading way too far into it, but as I was watching it, that’s just what popped into my head. I was just curious to see if anyone else thought about that, too…

He agrees with your Thorn theory

so why did you come in the thread then…you know i have seen you bring alot of negativity to these threads man.

Because he’s a noob and doesn’t know better.

Isn’t that the point of this place though? To discuss the movies and even “read too far into them”?
