To Terry Lambert regarding 30th Mask. - Final Thoughts Pg. 5

Derek and the Mod team,

I sent Terry a PM a couple of days ago that has remained unread. I tried to email this to his Cemetery Gates email, but it bounced back. Per Terry’s member ID (that I know of), there is no record of the last time he visited. I am posting this here not to be a catalyst for more back & forth, but to get a message to Terry by any means necessary.

Terry,

I would like to address the 30th mask situation with you. I ordered and paid for the 30th mask based on the photos posted by you of the prototype (I have them if you need them). What I received much later was incredibly different than what I paid for. The prototype looked very crisp with great features, hair and finishing. The mask I received had washed out details and a bone-white finishing job with no subtle tones to speak of. I heard that you have made everything right with past orders, but I don’t feel I received what was advertised, therefore I do not feel my situation was made right. I know that often times with mask makers in the community, if the mask received is not acceptable, steps will be taken to satisfy the buyer. I had not approached you with this issue in the past because I thought you were out of the business. Now that you are back up and running, I would like to ask if you could address my concerns.

Thank you,
Jeremy

Good idea Jeremy…he should fix this issue. Every time I look at my 30th I throw up a little in my mouth.

Agreed Frank, that’s one of the reasons I posted this publically. I think all of the buyers deserve to be taken care of, based on the situation.

goodluck

Best of luck Jeremy. I did notice that Terry has a new paypal address on his order page through his site.
May be worth trying to email him at t71xxx@yahoo.com to see if you get a response.

Thanks a million Chad, I’ll be sending my email there as well.

I agree also Blake. My 30th mask looks so bad, I don’t even display it. It’s stuffed inside a box and put away in my closet. The only thing I’m happy with is my 30th knife but that isn’t worth no $900

I never did see the proto pictures, or pictures of what customers actually got. Hell I have no idea what it looked or was supposed to look like. Anyone got pics?

The point is this -

With HSS, NAG, Nightowl, MCS, and every other mask maker, if you receive a mask you are very unhappy with, you contact the mask maker and work out the details of rectifying the situation. Up until now, we could not do such a thing because CGP was done and Crypt Co. distanced themselves from the 30th situation.

Now that CGP is back in business, it’s time for Terry to take our complaints seriously and make it right. NOT ONE of the people who received the 30th mask likes it. We paid $885 for something that we ALL DISLIKE. We paid $885 for a mask that LOOKS LIKE A SECOND-RATE RECAST OF WHAT WE PURCHASED.

It’s the same as buying an amazing mask off of eBay, then receiving a subpar recast of the mask you won. The only difference is that we were all so far past our opportunity to file a claim with PayPal that we had to just shake our heads and take it.

Terry, now that you are back in business and taking orders for masks, it’s time for you to take responsibility.

MAKE IT RIGHT TERRY.

I’m going to be getting my hands on the pics and should be able to post the comparison tonight. You will see what we bought looks nothing like what we received.

Hope this gets taken care of Blake. Personally thought the finish work on the 30th was appalling.

Good luck,
Chris

Agreed.

Derek

We could have bought four 75k’s to one of these 30th masks…the masks look absolutely terrible. As good as a DB2 looks in person, the 30th masks looks equally bad in person…it stands up by itself too. Not to mention the really great super thick pull, just like the hero :unamused:

…and would’ve been thrilled with the purchase.

Chris and Derek, thank you for your support.

Frank…yep…

Heck, I could have bought 10+ Trick or Treat masks…

Yeah I hope you do get a response bud…What we got was garbage IMO…IMHO they looked like bad recast of some sort…Maybe a bad recast of the original mask when it was so called remolded to be enlarged(If that ever happened)…even if so the remolded mask was seriously rushed by who ever did it…The entire thing was seriously rushed…They were horrible mask that were not worth the latex they were made from :unamused: …Almost every independent mask ive ever seen were better than those the 30th mask…Looked absolutely nothing like the protoduction photo…I think only 2 of them exist…Nik I know owns one and apparently Terry sold the actual proto…So even with that the mold couldnt have that small :unamused: :unamused: …The whole situation on why the mask was changed in the first place was fishy to me…See its reasons like this that drove me away from the hobby…You spend 1k and get something that looks like its worth 100 bucks…So long as they get something im in the clear right Terry :unamused: :butthead: …If it wasnt for chad my mask wouldnt have looked good at all…Chad brought some to life to mine but its long gone now…Every time I looked at it I just remembered the hell I went through to get it and how much I spent on garbage…Hopefully Terry becomes a man for once in his life and responds…Later guys

One thing to consider guys, and believe me, I feel for you all as I’ve been ripped off before, but I dont think calling out Terry here is gonna make him reply. He’s well aware of what he did, and how it affected his business. The best thing to do is use the e-mail Chad supplied. If you get no reply, then you will know Terry’s intentions.

The first two pics are the pics from Terry (what the mask was supposed to look like) and the last two pics are what we received.

That is horrible, that second mask (the one received) doesn’t look anything like it seemed to be advertised as…that being said, some of you guys paid $900.00 for that and a knife???

Maybe I’m missing something, but I can’t see paying $500.00 even if it looked exactly like the pic. Not to minimize anybody getting ripped off, that is the important thing here. I’m sure some will laugh, but even if I had loads of extra cash I think the limit I would pay for any mask I would have to cap at $500.00 A man’s got to know his limitations :stuck_out_tongue: :drinkers:
