After seeing all the talented artist renditions of their re-hauls of the TOTS 2018 mask, I thought I would share my experience of an artist that I stumbled across in the UK. His name is Simon Brandolino, a member of this group. A professional artist that enjoys re-hauling masks in his spare time. Once Simon received my mask he started it within a week. Sending me pictures of every step of the process from stripping the paint to re hair. He followed the exact same principle of painting the mask that Chris Nelson had done. Any way, I just want to give a massive shout out to Simon for his incredibly fast and smooth process of the re haul. Here are a few photos.
Thanks for the kind words lads, & Jason, you’re an outstanding photographer - so glad I came across you when I did. Look forward to doing more work with you, & providing some free overhauls in return for photographs. That’s right guys, my currency is photographs when you have Jason’s talent - otherwise I have to use mediocre pics like those I’ve attached.
There are some other great images on this site, which typifies the passion for Halloween some 40 years later. Incredible when you think about it.
A shout out to Alfred Downs who photographed a H1 homage with one of my masks. Another one who can take better pics than me! I’m blaming my rubbish camera phone.
A huge fan of Simon’s work and thanks for the shoutout mate! definitely my go to for a Myers overhaul, I’ll try and get some better photos of mine since I’ve finally figured out some good lens options for my camera, expect more of those H1 homages!
