Anyone else worried itâll be killed off like the Friday the 13th or Texas games?
Gameplay wise it looks very very similar to Friday the 13th The Game

I donât think it will be or at least not for legal reasons as the Halloween licence is a lot more stable
Thatâs fair enough, and I suppose itâll be more easier to keep the license unless something crazy happens.
This might sound a bit crazy, but this Halloween game will be, in my humble opinion, the biggest and potentially good Michael Myers-related thing happening since RZH 1, which was seriously the last Halloween movie to make at least some sense.
Now how crazy does this sound? 
Preach, my brother, preach! I love RZH1! But yeah, I do think the Myers game has potential to bring in new fans, or even show some decent relevancy for the gaming audience.
Hot take, an option to choose different looks of the shape or even different versions of Haddonfield might be a hard thing to pull off, but I wouldnât have mind seeing that. You know?

Seriously, when I thought they canât bring anything new to the franchise and this game was first announced, Iâm excited for the whole time. And I donât even play video games anymore. I just canât wait to read all the positive reviews.
RZH is just a good 80 perc. movie compared to the mess the new movies made. And Resurrection, well, thatâs just a fun thing to watch. Completely forgotten by now as the worst in the series it was once labeled. I think most people, who by some accident happened to rewatch Resurrection in the past years probably had a fun time, just wonât admit it.
I donât think this game will be killed off unless IllFonic and such decides to just stop doing updates/content for the game, the license is very stable unlike Friday the 13th which I still remember how much fun I had back in those times, the only negative thing about that game was that people eventually realized that if they all have weapons they can just hit Jason and knock him down as much as they wanted. I donât personally know wth happened with the Texas game, such a waste of potential IMO. It would be nice for other versions of Myers and different maps but I think those would require more licenses so would definitely only expect to see 1978 as of now, would be cool maybe to keep the game alive every few months or something drop the next story in line, like H2 could be released months after launch and then so on and on.
