Vanishing threads?

There was a thread posted here earlier about two members who were not holding up their part of trade deals they made… now it’s gone. It’s unreal how much this happens here. Being that these trades and sales occur on this site the site shouldn’t censor these occurences no matter who the members are, but let them be known to prevent others from dealing with them and to help the people being screwed to get their items. Mods? What gives?

It’s a matter of one law for them and another one for us. No doubt this thread will be deleted and moved to the mods “secret” section where they can bitch and bemoan against those that stand out.

These threads are made to protect us the collectors.I dont care if its made about about one of the mods friends, the thread should not be deleted, if its a legitimate claim. If a veteran member or any member has not done what he said he would do we should be allowed to make and see threads based on that.It will only help all of us in the long run.

I don’t care if it’s the pope himself, if someone backs out of a deal at the last minute or screws another board member, it should be known to others, to prevent the same thing from happening again.

I’ll look into this. Thanks for mentioning it.

You aren’t a MOD, and therefore have never seen the MOD section… I wouldn’t make comments about something you know nothing about. If you want a forum that’s a free for all with no moderation you’ve come to the wrong place.

Upon further review, a PM from a member, and looking over the moderator logs, it appears that the person who started the thread edited it, and changed the subject to “PLEASE DELETE.” This user must have found a resolution to their problem.

MOD’s don’t go around randomly deleting threads they don’t like, there’s always a reason, as there was in this case.
