This is such a cool thread to follow. Can’t wait to see it finished up!
Hey great posts my friend… I too dig the store scene and really hope to see you post the complete set one day.
Thanks Mike! I’ve definitely put my full effort into this but it took several community brothers to make it happen. David (Dr.Lady), Chad (Warlock), Josh (Sheriff Brackett), Todd (Tola67), Donnie (The Boogeyman 1978), Kirk Magnum (Billy Kirkus), HSS Studios (Sam McCain) and Chris Morgan (who tweaked the hair on my Drug Store Kirk) have all helped me make this happen.
Thanks Zombiejoy, I appreciate you guys following this and your wonderful comments.
Dan Challis - Thanks man, it’s getting there! Won’t be much longer now.
Congrats Benny! Thats another to strike off the list, sweet score mate!
Hey guys! I saw this thread and was compelled to join this message board. Don Post’s Erik was my first mask ever. I still have it and it was given to me when I was a little kid. My father came home from work one night wearing it. I sat looking out a sliding glass window playing with Legos or drawing something. My dad creeped around the side of the garage and made himself visible to me. He was waving for me to come outside. I was petrified. My mom comforted me, but as soon as she turned around, the guy with the half chewed face waved to me. After 15 minutes of this, he took off the mask and came inside laughing his butt off. My fear turned into love for this mask.
I’ve got a bunch of cool masks now, but none as iconic as this one. Congrats Benny. Is your Halloween 4 drug store collection finished yet?

_Great story and welcome aboard!
Please do post pics when you get the chance, we’d all love to see your collection. I’d especially love to see your Erik!
I have indeed just recently finished my H4 Vincent Drug Store collection by scoring my final two pieces of this project. I’ll be posting them soon!

Yeah. I hope you post the entire set up. I’d like to see it, in it’s completed stage.
Thanks man, will do!
SWEET score man! I think that’s the best part of the hobby “The Search” Josh was awesome to sell that piece to you! How many left on the list?
Cool! I definitely will. I’m now sadly reminiscing about 4 masks that I do not own anymore as they were “lost” at a haunted house I worked at for a season. About 10 years ago, my mother’s friend’s daughter started her own Halloween attraction. It was in a recreation center owned by a church actually. I was crazy about this girl and when she asked me to help out with costuming, I didn’t even think about saying no. She knew I had cool masks and I wasn’t thinking too clearly when I agreed to let her use them. I took them home every night during the costuming prep weeks, but during the operation of the house’s actual run, they got locked up in a storage garage along with other valuable props. Two nights before the season ended, my masks were not in the garage when it was time to set up for the night. There was no damage to the lock, so it was a big mystery. As it turns out, there were multiple keys to this storage locker. They were just gone. There were other props missing too. I was furious on the inside, but I tried to remain cool on the outside. This girl really did not have a thing to do with it. A few weeks later she called me and asked if I had receipts for the masks. I didn’t, but I told her how much they were worth. I heard her gasp. I think the call ended quickly after that and I never heard from her again. Great story, huh?
I’ll put pictures of my masks it in the correct section too as to not hijack your thread anymore. I have maybe 15 masks. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen them all.
Thanks for the welcome here. I love this forum.
