Well if Wayne Toth says it’s not a recast, that’s good enough for me. I regret even getting involved in the discussion honestly. Anyone that knows me knows that I’m very opinionated and I can admit when I’m wrong. For what it’s worth, my sincerest apologies go out to Sam.

It amazes me that a particular artistist can “retool” masks such as the KH, Maniac, Shape08, etc. rename them as his own and yet still command a following when the similarities are blatantly obvious to the work they were stolen. I support you Sam, PM sent!

LOL I just heard the one about nik’s h4 cover mask being a retooled Maniac yesterday. Anyone with eyes can see it’s a retool of his screen used version 1. And that obviously came from the life cast if you know what to look for. Hilarious! The reason why the classic 78 looks like the shape08 is because they are both created from the ground up using the shatner lifecast. Of course they are going to look similar. I mean Sam did very little to the face on his version, so why would Nik recast that why he already owned a shatner lifecast? That makes no sense at all to me. It’s just a witch hunt, and without any solid proof I am going to stay out of the witch hunting game. It only divides the board and this hobby is small enough as it is. Oh, and what was Nik’s scarred a recast of? What was the h78 a recast of? Come on man, Nik can sculpt his ass off. He doesn’t NEED to recast. People like Terry NEED to recast because they can’t sculpt. Justin has recast the 75 kirk, but he doesn’t NEED to recast anything either. He’s a super talented guy.
Honestly, I learned my lesson and we are lucky to have the artists that we have here on the board. Just take a gander through the gallery and see how far we’ve come in terms of accuracy. From now own I am going to keep my opinions to myself because obviously people that I sent PRIVATE messages to went and shared that info. Anyways, that’s my two cents. Time for me to go to bed!!!
Oh and apparently I am selling 99 shatner recasts now too. Just heard that tonight. This board is so full of drama, and I regret being the cause of some of it. 
TO THE BOARD: unless you have proof that someone recasted a mask then please keep your envious mouths shut and try to except the fact that there are other talented people in the world. we would all appreciate avoiding the drama.
