i’d say go for the hock first; they’re cheaper. the frightstuff kits* are $50 at most, and i’ve seen finished ones in the classifieds for under $100. much easier to pull the trigger on, readily available, and something to tide you over till you can get the kirk.


*‘kit’ here being a rather stretched term, IMO. more of an unfinished mask. all holes are drilled, straps are included, just put it together and you’ve got a clean Part 3. the only real work on your end is weathering to taste.

i probably would have a LOT more coming my way if i knew about all the hidden “waitlist” that people post about…like Nik’s lineup that i know NOTHING about, MMFX’s new mask that i know NOTHING about…i think mask makers should make these “list” more known sooooo other people may spend money with them and trust them more…JMO :finga: :finga: :finga:
