In my opinion people are scumbags for trying to charge that much. Either that or just really stupid.
The people buying are also dumb.
Some of the ones I saw were completely fueled by the buyers. I saw a few “no reserve” auctions that started at a reasonable price get really high with like 30 bids or something. Even if you start the auction for these masks low, the market demand is really high right now.

I also very intrigued if the bidders are actually paying Kreation X for his auctions they won. In just 2 rehauls auctions he’s banked 7k

Hmm how interesting a zero feedback driving it up further and further. These people even attempting to sell these at such ridiculous rates should be checked in to a hospital somewhere

In the description, he mentions how it “matches the screen used mask perfectly”… which it really doesn’t. Most repaints look better than the prototype masks IMO.
You could pick up quite a few masks and have them redone very good for under $5000…
And about bidders not paying, I thought ebay was a contract, and if you bid, you are legally responsible to pay the seller?
Something does look off though… look at the bid increments. It starts off reasonably, going up a little at a time, then it exploded and went from $500 to $1000 in one bid? and then from $1125 to $2000, then $500 per bid increment? Odd…
Same here. I had a 20% off coupon for any single item and got mine for $48. I should toss it on ebay and see what happens. Then buy another one again in a few weeks for $60.
It’s ridiculous whats going on right now. Don’t people understand that the market is going to be flooded with these cheesy masks and they won’t be worth much more than like $50 by this time next year.
I already received my TOTs pre order though I actually want to buy another one. Mine is just a little too snug for my liking and I’d like to eventually try my hand at painting one. Unfortunately Spirits and Party City is like 20+ miles from me so I think I’m just going to have to wait till this hype train is over to snag another, no way am I paying more than retail for this mask. I can definitely wait.
Oh, no no no. I have buyers disappear on me all the time. It’s actually a huge problem because there is very little in the way of consequences for buyers. Sometimes an auction will last seven days, which is already a wait, then the buyer will disappear and you have to wait a few days to open a claim against them, then you have to wait a few more days to resolve it, then you relist it and wait another seven days for the auction to end again. Sometimes you wind up a month later with the damn thing still not bought.
Hate selling on eBay.

I can guarantee any of these masks that go for $800+ end up having the winning bidder back out of them. I can’t imagine somebody with any sense paying that much for one of these masks. I was REALLY disappointed to see Jackson Rupert’s copy put on eBay. I believed the buyer to actually want to own the mask, but apparently it is on eBay for an infinite amount of profit by the buyer. Sad.
Should have just let somebody buy it from the artist who actually wanted the mask rather than buying it for a reasonable price and flipping it for 5x that. Just unfortunate to see everybody doing this.

This mask has brought the absolute worst out in people.You got to give this guy credit he does have a very catchy salesmany way of writing his ads to make people want to buy. I could understand if these masks would hold their value. These will all be worthless in 2 weeks.
Can see how when things that actually matter like food etc, fuel, etc, when there is a shortage they price goug
Unfortunately it is. I saw his video on it and was so happy he scored it. I was going to contact Jackson about purchasing the mask and the fact that he bought it just to flip it actually upsets me
