98 Proto coverted by AHG or JC is top mask IMO followed closely by 75k and NO Shat.
For H1, I’d go with the HMK small as the best. It’s easy to correct the eyes being slightly too far apart if your pull had that problem as some do, but the overall shape and detail is the best I’ve ever seen in an H1 or Kirk reproduction and there are only a few top H1’s that I don’t own.
The smalls are on the left and the right side of the middle mask (a 75K Supreme, which looks better now than it did then).
There are other amazing masks like the '98 Proto 75K, old mold MMK, Psycho SE and 2005/early run Psycho, SSN Sandman, Nightmare Unlimited, NMM78, 2K, That Night Continued, new mold 75K, etc. etc. We live in a time where there has been a plethora of great masks out there (Jefe, what is a plethora?) that are still circulated and there’s a bunch more still being made. It’s incredibly easy to find just what excites you, what you’ve been looking for.
I’m currently re-shaping/correcting one of those Kirks on eBay that came from a cast of that Kirk master that everyone was excited about. It lost a bit of shape in the enlarging process and it’s about an inch too big at 24.5" around, but it has incredible detail and I’m excited to see the results (though I need to glue the eye cuts back on as my scissors were too dull when I was cutting them almost 2 years ago. I’ve gotten good results from reshaping masks using the Shatner lifecast in a MacGyvering process, it works very well with the re-tooled larger HMK’s (which lost a good amount of shape compared to the smalls) and DCSM 2’s. Some masks look awesome but there’s maybe a small thing off in the shape and the lifecast helps that, but I don’t use the process often. My point being that even flawed masks can be transformed into something amazing with a bit of care and intuition, so don’t discount those flawed masks.
