Who has the.....

Any details on how it was stolen? Was it taken from his house?Thats crazy…

Yeah, every Saturday, Forry held an “open house” for fans to see his amazing collection. One scumbag took it when he was distracted. Lots of other things were stolen cuz Forry was a trusting man, and didn’t watch people like a hawk. He had a website that was called Forry Ackermans Wide Webbed World (or something like that). Thats where he actually offered the reward. I was mistaken when I said it was in FMOF.

GeorgeL said he bought it directly from Forry.

Yes got a great deal to because Forry was hard up for cash at that point.

Did Forry have 2? I know for a fact that he reported it stolen, as I was a member of his site for years. He did indeed offer a reward for it’s return, and I don’t believe it was a lie. He said it himself that it was stolen. Anyone have any other info?

I just remember the thread about whether it was morally right or wrong to take advantage of a sick old man needing money with the purchase price.

Here are two videos showing Uncle Forry’s collection.
You can see the Kirk in both vids.

George L own’s his old kirk…
I heard a few different stories about it, but don’t know whats true

Forry started the rumor that it was stolen. Long story short, he was ill and had people selling items in his collection on eBay to rasie funds for him. From this George L. contacted the people selling the items and made an offer and purchased it from them. Later on when someone noticed it was missing from the collection, they actually called Forry and he wasn’t aware it was sold and said it must have been stolen which wasn’t the case. At the time Forry was in bed all of the time and was not exactly “with it”.

Now, the price it sold for was nothing compared to what others have sold for but the executors selling his items had no idea of its value.

wow that was gorgeous! :open_mouth:

Poor Forry!!

Don’t forget about Pete Robert’s mint '75 Kirk that was never sold to a cosumer as new, it was stored away in a box at Morris Costumes in North Carolina after failing to sell but it had its nose flattened due to its position in the box for so many years. He’s planning to get it foam-filled soon and he’s very confident that the foam will push the nose out back to its original look.

Who has his original 75 Kirk that he sold on Ebay before he got that one ?

Darren Hughes  A guy in Canada won it in Pete’s auction on eBay but he later contacted Darren wanting to trade the '75 for Darren’s screen-used Winston H20 Hero and he took the deal. Funny thing, Darren ended up buying his H20 Winston Hero back later down the road.

Didn’t Tony Moran Fan get Bigcat’s original Kirk?? I believe he got it in a trade for the H20 mask he had, with a collector from Canada.

Yes, Darren has Pete’s Kirk. The guy from Canada was Roch Trembley.
