Chris durand is actually 6 ft 2, taller than both Castle and Warlock. But I do agree, he sucked, never liked him.

Dick Warlock was too small and Tyler Mane was too big. Nick Castle (Jerk) was the best because he wasn’t so small that he looked harmless, and he wasn’t so big that he looked ridiculous. John Carpenter also told him to “keep it simple stupid.”
Dick warlock is small in person but In the movie he wore lifts to be around 6 ft. Nowhere near did he look small in the movie, he was shown taller than most people in the movie, could have been camera angles or whatever…but nowhere near would a human eye be able to look at him and say oh hes short. Tyler mane on the other hand appeared too tall in the movie, and we all know hes tall in reality too. And good old Nick Castle is an inch taller than warlock, so being 5’10 would make castle short too.

Wilbur was easily the worst Myers.
Hmmm… Well, I’m not too fond of Wilbur. I actually didn’t think Tyler Mane was bad. Tyler Mane did great in RZH because the image and mentality of Michael in that film was completely different from the others, so he acted completely different.
dumb thread. but they were all great…even Tyler Mane. Who am I to judge the best or worst Myers.
Dont get me wrong here guys with what Im about to say…The 2 best in the whole series IMO without a doubt was Castle and warlock…But the 2 also IMO were very different…Castle had a little bit more edge to him than Warlock…They had different movements and a much different walk…I loved Dick’s robotic style but Castle was a bit more upbeat with his movements and walk…So throughout the entire series I always compared the other actors to Castle…Despite his height Tyler did a damn good job with his portrayal of Myers IMO…I dont think the size of an actor matters on their movements and how they actually play the character…As long as I get a good michael vibe from them Im cool with that…Out of them all since Castle and warlock no other actor gave me that same feeling of the original Michael myers like Tyler mane…Yeah he may be a whole foot taller but his Michael acting was very good IMO…His movements kicked ass to me…
I mean there is no reason why anyone should make this more than what it is…We all see things differently and in the end its just opinion’s guys…No need to turn it heated or get rude just because someone views things differently…Thats life no matter where you go and there will always be different opinions on everything…Especially in the Halloween world…So hey, if some of you liked wilbur, so be it as its your opinion…If some of you didnt like Tyler, so be it as its your opinion…It doesnt make it right or wrong because in the end its just our personal opinions…In no way does it make it better or worse than the next guy…Take care everyone

i would say wilber was the worst, he was just fat and frumpy looking. wilber did not have the body type to play Myers imo. a fat frumpy Myers looks far more rediculose than a tall/big Myers.
i think Mane is the best Myers since Castle.
Whatever dude! Dick Warlock looks SMALL! During a documentary someone commented on how silly it looked when he hoisted the nurse with the scalpel, and they were right! The Nurse is just as big as he is; if not bigger!
Maybe we don’t notice with Castle because they showed him so little, and almost never in full screen next to another actor. And two inch lifts don’t change the rest of Warlock’s build, which is that of a smaller guy. It stands out in H2 because they put him in full frame with other actors every 20 minutes.
So you just keep telling me that there’s no way my human eye could see that Dick Warlock is short, and I’ll sit here and yawn.
I do agree about the nurse scene, havnt you heard of tall women? She could have been 6 ft for all I know. maybe im wrong…who knows. I didnt see height as an issue with warlock since the angle of the camera took that attention away from his height and more to his robotic movements.
As far as castle, he barely looked much taller than jamie lee, shes around 5’8 and it looks as if castle was about 5’11 in the movie. Looked a tad bit on the average side during one scene when he stabbed bob in the chest and was staring at him for countless seconds.

Since Nick Castle was the original Michael Myers and essentially IS Michael Myers, wouldn’t it make sense that whoever was most different from Castle, would be the worst? He defined the character back in '78, and it seems to me that whoever is most different than him is the worst, because once again, Castle was the original Michael Myers. All the others after him were portraying a character that he defined and brought to life. He set the standard for what the character was and how he acted and it only makes sense that whoever was the most different from Castle, is the worst Michael Myers.
Just how I see things after giving this a little more thought…
After Castle and Warlock there were no Michael Myers. That’s just my humble opinion, if you don’t like that, then… :butthead:
Also, I think “worst” is a bit harsh. Maybe “least favorite” is a bit more appropriate.
All of the actors scared me until I hit my teens. I still get chills when Laurie’s feet are hanging out that opening while Michael slashes at her feet. Just imagine what a scalpel would do to the sole of your foot, or your toes!
It wasn’t until M-M that I started to compare and contrast each actor, mask, director, ect. I was a happier fan before.
