I forgot to post thoughts on HSS and NAG after I received masks from them, so these are belated thoughts.
WMP. The wait was well worth it with my Raining Red, I used the order page to give specifics and posted a gallery of reference shots and the mask came out looking amazing, it’s a killer in specialized lighting in the dark. The process was very smooth and Mr. and Mrs. Morgan were great.
NAG, I ordered a few masks from Nikos, a new mold MMK, a JA75, and a 2K Proto and he answered all of my PM’s in s short time, and gave me pictures of the MMK and listened to my requests. All three masks shipped in a large box all stuffed well and with all having plenty of room.
I bought a bunch of masks from HSS during their black Friday sale, a '99 Shatner, an RZH2 Artifact, an RZH2 Artifact Exposed, and RZH1 Artifact, and an RZH1 Relic clean. There were 5 masks so they weren’t all stuffed in the box, so they were a little squished, but I stuffed them and shaped them and they were back to their true shape in no time. The masks were not as detailed as the full price ones, but the two RZH2 masks still were nicely painted, I just added a translucent amber yellow to both and they look great. I took it upon myself to redo the RZH1 Artifact and I’m glad I did because it came out great. I’m going to convert the '99 Shatner into an H2 after I get done with the H1 masks I’m re-painting. It was a great bargain and the sale allowed me to add little touches to truly make the masks my own, you often cannot get blanks for those prices.
I did more business with Tommy at Ghastly Pro and got my Psycho and Kurse re-haired and it’ makes a huge difference on both. The communication is always good, as are the prices.
