You guys were saying?...

So…with all this negativity towards H2…what do you all have to say to me now that almost everyone has said it’s trash?

Hate to say I told you so but…

I TOLD YOU SO

And don’t worry, I will be giving my…“review” tomorrow after seeing it…and not paying for it.

oh you where so right matt! we all should have listened to you little buddy. i’ll deffinitely ask your opinion before i’ll go see another movie. from here on out you will be the George Bush Jr. of this site as you are now officially our “decider”!

and just when im starting to think your o.k matt. :unamused: keep in mind that majority of this board hates the remake, but that didnt stop it from going on the become very succesful and make more money than any Halloween prior to it. you have to let this one too be released on DVD before you can really judge its full success or failure rate.

I was originally saying I was going to keep an open mind. I saw things in the trailers that kinda made me nervous about the film, but when it came to seeing it, I was VERY pleased.

I agreed it would be trash FROM THE START AS WELL… :drinkers:

Don’t you forget it.

Please don’t go see it I don’t think the community can take weeks of of constant whining and complaining, enough is enough all ready.

Why waste your time seeing it when you’ve already made up your mind about the movie? I would suggest to at least give it a chance, and you just might have a good time. Just remember this is Rob’s remake. Hell people slammed JC’s remake of the Thing at the time, and that’s a damn good movie. It’s way different from the original too.

And again, I am seeing it…at no cost. If find things about it I like then I will say so. I openly admit to liking very few things about The 2007 remake but it certainly doesn’t make up for the bad.

I didn’t say don’t waste your money, I said don’t waste your time. I mean how the hell can you really give this movie a chance? You’ve bashed it again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, with post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, post after post, on this board already!

Really good point.Damn the remake of the Thing is amazing compared to the original.

quite a few people have…its getting to be a bit much already. EVERY single thread about RZ’s H2 ends up being intercepted by people who just want to shit; piss and vomit all over it. Enough already.

Because we want change! We want to look forward to seeing an upcoming Halloween in the theater. Did blacks stop “bitching” when they wanted equality? Did women quit “bitching” when they wanted equal rights? NO! We’re protesting. So go see H2 and wallow in all it’s glory again and just leave me and the majority of the other members on here who can’t stand a trash movie alone. Get over myself? Get over yourselves!

DITTO, WELL SAID MY FRIEND :open_mouth:

Just keep crying and whining that’s what you do best, "Dren the Crier"n Living up to his name and doing a damn good job of it.

Yea crackhea- I mean crackbaby, that’s what I do best. That’s all I do here on MM.net is trash Zombie. :unamused: You’re one of these guys that I barely ever see outside of an RZ thread/section so I know you’re one of the Zombie faithfuls and at this point I understand why he can do no wrong to you, because you’ve bought so far into his bullshit.

Bought into his bullshit .LOL no I just enjoy his films and dont feel the need to bash the shit out of H4,or H8 which to me are truly, the films that buried the Halloween franchise. Instead I just enjoy them for what they are and don’t feel the need to constantly hear my self complain about something that’s not going to make a difference in the process of the movie. If you went out of the RZ Thread long enough to stop bitching about everything you would notice that I also hang in the general discussion.

Gee, sorry I’m heavily opinionated and I’m not satisfied by what I can get.

Typical response. :butthead:

Honestly, I think all we can do now is agree to disagree because I’m not going to make this personal. That’s just immature, has nothing to do with this, and won’t get us anywhere.

You like Zombie’s Halloweens, I can’t stand them.

Whatever.

You H4 haters are quite literally mentally DEAD to me. H4 was where the series should’ve ended FOR GOOD. It was stylish, great writing, acting was good, the colors/look of the film was the closest to Halloween 1978 that we’ve ever seen TO DATE.

Alan B. McElroy wrote a great screenplay and the ending was fucking superb! We were brought right back to the beginning of the entire Halloween mythology. The ending of H4 is the EXACT definition of “…coming full circle” It could’ve and SHOULD’VE ended there. No H5-Shitfest H2. I could even have done without the WB/CW version of Halloween known as H20.
