Don Post 03 (THAT I GAVE TO SHAWN !)
THIS MASK SUCKS NOW TO ME
My first non-mass-produced Myers mask was a CGP Warlock. Don’t have any pictures of it sadly.
Is that a ressurection coversion?
My first Myers mask was NAG “Dead by Don”
it was Niks first attempt at a Myers mask, I think.

my first Myers mask was a 1996 don post ‘The Mask’ which i still got and will post pics of in a thread real soon.
crazy…when i bought it i was 17 and thought it was the coolest thing i’d ever seen! yeah i know, when i was 17 the internet was a rich mans accessory in Arkansas!
the Don post did seem like the best thing since sliced bread in the early days of myers collecting
2003 Don post was my first licensed mask and my first Indie mask was a SSN Curse mask that i scored for $50
I got my first Myers back in maybe '86? I was my baby until I ripped the mouth at our local haunted house… drinking long neck bud lights through the mouth slit
alcohol strikes again!
My “first” mask can be seen below; bought it a couple of years back and modified it to give a more screen accurate look. In person it looks like a Clean RZ/H20 hybrid.
It’s a simple Don Post mask, they eyebrows were trimmed WAY down and painted over with white acryllic to give that latex-y look. I accented the cheeks/lips/forehead, and weathered it with watered down browns and yellows, also (this is not a joke) rubbed dirt and fireplace sut in the different crevaces to give a more natural weathering effect.
Yes I know, a lot of work for a simple Don Post mask. But, I wanted to make it my own, and if RZ can display his vision of Myers, so can I.
Also, I’m no good at hairing or re-hairing. So, I kept the actual hair that comes with the mask and did my thing with it.
My first mask is a tie between CGPs Phantom and Casey’s Psychopath H2, which I got like a week or two ago.
that is sweet I see rz in it a lot, dp 06 has h20 eyes for sure. best conversion i’ve seen ever
Thanks dude, that means a lot. A lot of work went into that $70 mask. Soon, I shall invest in some indie masks; I just got to get the ol’ lady to allow me to display them in the house somewhere.
My first mask was given to me in 89 when I first strated with walgreens. A coworker and I were discussing the movie Halloween, and that In 87 I saw a myers mask worn by a student at my highschool, that I wish I had one.He then tells me he has one and that he would give it to me for free, and when he said that my eyes lit up with excitement. He did tell me that the previuos year his dog got ahold of it and chewd all the hair off the mask, but told me that he went down that year and bought a pirate’s beard at a local Halloween store and glued it on, but it was mine if I wanted it, I said hell yeah. so the next day at work he gave it to me, and it looked like michael myers with dred locks lol. So later that night after work I went home got my moms hairsrpray can, put the mask on it to use as a stand, and then took my moms comb with a metal pick on the one end and proceded to pick the hair and made it more bushy and then began to come it back from memory to what I remember what the hair on the hero looked like. After I was done it looked soo much better and you couldn’t tell it was a pirate’s beard at all, no more corn rows or dreds lol. Then I lost that mask in a move, so in 95 I bought a new one… Dean
a 90’s DP mask that ended up melting out of the clear blue for no apparent reason and the main reason why Im here and have all the masks I currently own. I got it in 1995 or 96 I believe and it lasted perfectly for 10 years until I picked it up one day and it felt like a cold melting marshmallow. It was all stuck together and unsalvageable. That was a sad day but also when I finally decided to get a high end one. ONE, that turned into two, then three, and so on…
