I was browsing my images and found some neat old pics. These have all been posted at one
time or another but many of you may not have seen them. The 75 Kirk compared to other
masks we all have had or know well.

Even with all of the great replicas we have available, these pics prove the DP 75 Kirk is still in a league of its own. :sunglasses:

Thanks for sharing! Very great comparison pictures with varying masks. I always thought your old '75 had a darker flesh color than other Kirks, the best '75 in reference to the Hero with Forrest Ackerman’s old '75 being the best in reference to William Shatner (Captain Kirk) in my opinion. Where did you get yours? I think I heard you won it at a Halloween party in '80s but I’m not sure?

The variations of the story always crack me up. Jay Allan and I were looking everywhere for Kirks. Posted ads, called and wrote everyone, etc. Someone who knew I was looking for one contacted me and told me a friend of theirs found one that was sitting out as decoration at a Halloween party. The owner had used it for decoration during Halloween. I bought it from him.

I think that’s what I heard but I’m not sure, funny though. Thanks for clearing it up, I didn’t know that you and Jay Allan were looking for one at the same time. I remember him mentioning you on his website, though. Very great find. This just shows that there are more out there. Btw, was your '75 Spock Forrest Ackerman’s old copy?

My favorite 75DP bar none. This is the iconic image, I think of when I hear 75 Kirk. A truly one of a kind look that’s for sure. The only Kirk that reminded me of your copy was Ken’s, but his copy had started to tear and fall apart. Fantastic post.

This was just awesome man!!! Thanks for sharing! The biggest thing i noticed was the slant in the forehead! Other than that, I think the KH looked spot on!!! :rock: :rock: :drinkers:
