Has anyone purchased the TOTS licensed coveralls? Wondering if they are more Halloween store quality instead of replica quality.

Theres a video review on youtube, its the cheap shiny halloween fabric. Kind of like the fabric for a bootlegged
Scream costume, a shiny plastic type fabric that a rip/tears and runs like a tablecloth.
Your better off getting real coveralls $15-30 bucks newor used theyre made from better materials built to last

the coveralls I ordered were size 40R and the mannequin I have is 6ft, are they going to fit? they didn’t have a long option on amazon for the size I needed, they only had 46L which is way too big.

**Sears Work and Leisure in the color Grey was what the hero pair was. Problem is they are hard to find. A pair was up for sale on the Facebook group for a super low price of $40. Another super close pair would be vintage Sears Robucks. Pocket flap and stitching are almost exact these are slightly easier to find but still can be difficult.

Does anyone happen to know where the original coveralls worn in the movie are today? Do they still exist?

They’d most likely have been loaned and given back, my guess is they are in the trash since they were really grungy

So if one is looking for something simple and cheap for a quick H1 look, are the Red Kap brand a fair option? Considering pairs can be had on Amazon for under 30 dollars, I am just curious. I know the pocket flap and what not is missing on those, so it’s not all that accurate, but just curious what some thoughts are on them.

Surely it has to be better than the TOTS H1 coveralls for $60? Can’t imagine the material on TOTS coveralls are all that great. Never bought a pair of any TOTS coveralls, so I just assume they are typical Halloween costume material.

If the Red Kap brand is a fair option, how are the sizes on those? True to size, run small, etc? I am 6’1, 210 pounds. Just want to be sure I grab the right size since they have to be ordered. I don’t want to have to return them and go through that whole process. Let me know guys, thanks.

I’ve been using old Craftsman coveralls for years, I just want to update the look to something a little closer to accurate, but not spend a lot to get there. Thanks again.

I like my Charcoal Red Kaps. I believe they are a pretty good option and you can’t beat the price. For reference on the Red Kaps sizing, I’m 6’and 215, and had to go with 46 TALL to get the length in the torso. I know a few details like the pocket flap are not accurate, but I’m personally not that hung up on it. I wear Doc Martins, so my boots aren’t accurate either, but they are comfortable and I’ve found that when you’re walking around with a giant butcher knife in a Myers mask and stay in character, most people aren’t going to try to pull your pants leg up and check.

I’d like to try Charcoal Reeds, but I’ve had difficulty finding a place to order them. If anyone knows a good online retailer that caries them, please share.

Order from Reed direct. I was able to order two pairs without (too much) difficulty. However, be aware, they do run true to size (or slightly bigger). I wouldn’t size up like most coveralls. You’ll get invoiced via email a credit card link in order to pay. Have the model number, color and quantity ready on hand as well.
