Hello everyone, this one literally has me shaking to post this I’m so excited!! This is my latest knife score (which will be my last for H1 knives). Now I have always felt like the Lamson was THE knife used in 78, even my username, but I could never find THAT knife, something was always off, rivet size, placement, bolster/heel didn’t look right, etc, etc. To me anyway I have found the diamond Grail of H1 knives and that search has ended, I cleaned it up a little, is in excellent shape with a fair amount of patina, included with my pics are screen shots, I tried to get as close as possible. Pay special attention to the rivet size, placement, the birds beak handle. Also look at the spine of the knife, the top part where the blade leaves the handle, this knife, like the one on film drops just a little quicker than any lamson or Dexter or any other I have found. Thank you everyone!! This this is a massive 17 1/2". Unfortunately Davy, there is not one stamp or hint of a marking anywhere on this thing. All I can say is I got it off the Bay out of California. And BTW they are brass rivets. Thanks again for looking.

Thanks again everyone, and yeah kaizu, it was actually one of your posts some time ago that showed the rivets, overall knife up close, those were the pics I kept referencing to on my search.
In my opinion, you have found the exact style knife seen in H1… simple as that! I have searched high and low for that exact knife!
