1978 vs. 2018 Knife Size

I think some people, mainly younger, enjoy it because it has a lot of gore. The first Halloween barely had any gore and relied more on the atmosphere and camera work to truly be a horror. More psychological aspects. I don’t entirely hate Rob Zombie’s first installment, it was the 2nd that ruined it for me. I think it’s comparing apples to oranges personally as the 1978 film is what inspired a lot of the modern-day slasher flicks we see today. Halloween 2 was in 1981 and the 80’s were really when gore was ramped up and films started competing with eachother to see which could be bloodier in my opinion. I’m looking forward to H40 but I don’t think anything can ever top the original Halloween. The Boogeyman was real!

I like robs, but honestly some of his stuff disturbs me
